1. Don't give me example like Chelsea. Debt towards owner is just like our current debt towards Ashley. Isn't really a kind of debt. 2. Man Utd/Liverpool and most debt-carrying clubs are generating enough revenue or has very good liquidity to give the creditors confidence that they can pay the debt. As a result they don't need to repay the debt in short-term. This is not the case for Newcastle, which the huge loan is just down to "personal credit" by Fred. Mind you personal credit counts nothing actually. There's a lot of clauses inside these kinda loan contract, so called loan covenant, that the debt needs to be paid immediately under several circumstances. Change of ownership is not the only one but just one of those terms. So don't try to say "if Ashley don't buy the club, we don't need to repay the debt soon and we won't face administration". Never. 3. Well I start to doubt whether you are really a Newcastle fans. So you are willing to take a gamble for "getting back into Europe" by "risking the club into administration". Are you ok? NE5, last sentence, no matter what, the last thing, or the worst thing a chairman/owner can do to a football club is, bring the club towards administration. Fred almost done that. 95% imo. Past record counts nothing in front of liquidators. I don't care what you have achieved, or what you claim you can achieve later --- sell all your assets, pay off the debts, and remember to file the case to the association and wait for point reduction penalty. End of story. You simply couldn't argue for Fred. I don't wanna waste time to evaluate everything he's done. Bring the club towards administration is enough to judge his era.

The debt ratio is horrible, the wage/revenue ratio is ridiculous, the Owen deal shouldn't be done because we simply couldn't afford him --- Fred has been making very, very risky decisions it was already not a "gamble" but "suicide". Yea you could say if they turn out to be success then no problem at all but that's the reason why Leeds was finished. Well, that's very arguable, my point is 1. We are already showing signs of facing relegation battle under Fred. This is the same as you're assuming Ashely=relegation. To me both owners=possible relegation. 2. I would rather relegate with a better financial status so that we can come back again like Blackburn, Birmingham and Sunderland. Could you imagine if we relegate under Fred and those debts are still outstanding?

NE5 I can't understand how can you argue for Fred. It's obvious that we almost did a Leeds. In a sense we could be even worse as we didn't have a good youth setup to sustain recoverability. No matter how bad Ashley's doing, he couldn't be worse than Fred in the sense that we didn't go into administration. As an accountant I could assure you that we were really close to the point of no return.

Nah, if he's really that good in physique he wouldn't commit so many fouls. Above average but definitely not top class material --- you can frequently see him out-paced or out-muscled by the opponents. I only rate Taylor's game reading ability to be honest. All the other aspects are not good enough.

It would be nice to get Onouha. He has the physique to make it unlike Taylor. Given can be expensed if we really get all those mentioned above. Would be even better if we can offload Smith to free up capacity for wages.

2. Sam Allardyce. He should sack him right from the beginning. Ashley has admitted that he thinks Allardyce wasn't appropriate to be the manager and he wanted to appoint another one, but then he thinks "Well, why not give it a try? If things doesn't go on well then I will sack him" WTF is this strategy? Give it a try? Sack whenever not impressive enough? Jesus christ. It's just like another temporary manager appointment. No stability at all. I don't blame him for not putting money into the transfer market (considering that's the consequence of FS and his interest-free loan) but he's failed as an owner, simply as that.

Now it makes you wonder why Ashley brought back Keegan. That's a terrible decision, very terrible one, considering Keegan's style and his "dream factory" speech. Ashley fault to be honest. It's be clearer and clearer that Keegan has been promised to have funds to spend while the truth is we can just afford a few bargaining deals like Jonas and Bassong. Keegan's right that he was brought in under wrong circumstances --- not the power struggle with Wise, but the non-existance of money. Ashley, while saving us from administration, has 2 very critical appointments failed, and that's why he should take the blame. Unfortunately he has no power to overturn it now...

Am i reading this right? You want to risk the future of the club just to force out the man who could change it all, even though he;s given us the best first team in 5 years? That's for those who just want "Ashley out'. Protesting does no good at this moment. It won't force Ashley to sell the club at a huge loss, instead further worsen the team's morale. I want Ashley out tbh, but not now. We must stay in Premiership till the economy recovers.

I agree that Xisco could be a lot better but its crystal clear that Carroll has top class aerial ability in EPL and that's what we need to fight against relegation.

Sadly Carroll is more effective in EPL. I would play Carroll over Xisco to be honest.
