TBF Shearer has made several spot on decisions despite having a string of bad results. It may be down to that he understands the problem but due to his lack of experience he doesn't know how to solve them. If only we could hire him a few matches earlier...

Put it simple. Colo is a good defender ONLY IF he got a decent cover in front of him. And who does we have? Nicky Butt. I don't think it's just a coincidence that Colo's performance went downhill since Guthrie / Batron - the only two mobile central midfielders we have - were sidelined due to injuries. He isn't that bad. Still way lot better than Boumsong/Bramble, nevermind O'Brien. It's the relegation pressure that makes him look so bad. Still, at the moment, Steven Taylor / Bassong seems to be a more reliable partnership. Unfortunately both are injured.

I think that signals the end of Owen. The difference is fucking great by having one more mobile player upfront.

We deadly need to hire a manager, either temporary or permanent, asap or we're dead-certain to relegate this season.

I'd prefer Saylor over Raylor at RB.

He never let Alex Ferguson down. Simply as that. Honestly, I never saw him playing badly. He is the most consistent player in Man Utd, and is probably the best defensive winger in the world --- he is excellent at freezing out opponent's winger. He may not good enough to be a regular starter for world class teams, but is definitely the best squad rotation type player for any team in the world.

Not bad if we sacrifice 3 points for Butt's remaining games. Get in.
