I don’t think we can sign a striker significantly better than Wilson this window and so I prefer to sign someone who can also play on the wing. I wouldn’t mind Etikite but PSG is after him and I ain’t optimistic. For the CB position I want to go for someone with pace to partner with Dan. N’Dicka is fine. Botman is Milan bound and I ain’t sure about Badashile. Carlos is my preference just because Sevilla is willing to sell. If we could get N’Dicka we should go for him instead.

Mbappes case is a bit different. It’s more about his ambition to be the best footballer in the world for the next decade. Put it this way, if he stays at PSG, and next year PSG wins the Champions League, people may still give more credit to Neymar or Messi and very likely Mbappe will not get the Ballon Dor. However if he goes to Real Madrid and wins it, the Ballon Dor will be 100% in his pocket, and everyone will claim this is the official opening of the Mbappe Era. A lot of football fans are getting tired of Messi and CR7 and just hope the next era to begin ASAP. Whether you like him or not, Mbappe is the only successor of the throne, and it’s about time to do so. Choosing money over the throne is a massive massive disappointment to these fans.

Paqueta is close to be the best player in Lique 1. You can’t go wrong with a player like that. Obviously the club rate him as well since we offered 100m in Jan and got rejected. We should go for him again at all cost. Etikite is still too raw. I would prefer to sign him up and loan him back to his current team for 2 years if we really want to secure his talent. He is not ready for EPL.
