  1. The science of being lazy/not caring about position/defending.
  2. The danger was clear but he continued to jog, it was only when the ball was finally played did he decide to sprint. I saw a similar situation where Steven Gerrard makes sure he gets back. I never see that determination from Santon. He strikes me as a very laid back person and player. No urgency in the way he plays. If he was a wide midfielder that would be okay. But he's a fullback. Put in a strong challenge and run to save a goal from time to time ffs.
  3. Good lad wish him the best. Overall, was a very decent player for us imo. Good lad.
  4. I think Gouffrana and Remy have shown better positioning/movement in the box. Nearly all of Gouffran's goals have been sitters or being in the right place at the right time and finishing off the chance. Remy's scored a good few scrappy ones too. During Cisse's wonder streak, I wondered if it was too good to continue. Except maybe the WBA goals, the goals were all brilliant. Excellent strikers and finishes. The Swansea goals, absolutely beautiful. But I noticed he rarely got those scruffy Demba type goals. The level of finishing he was showing he was always going to struggle to maintain. Now.. I have absolutely no idea where his median ability lies. Maybe he's the type to just be brilliant or crap. He was pretty decent towards the end of last season for a spell. Scored some important goals. But he's lost that too.
  5. Lethal in the box? I don't think his movement is particularly impressive in the box and he's not "lethal" when it comes his way either. He's terrible outside the box, decent outside the box when he's playing well mind. Last year.. no matter what striker we had would've struggled. Except the one that scored a dozen league goals by January. You basically blame everyone except Cisse for Cisse's bad form.
  6. Substituting a player that contributes for a player that doesn't, was the biggest problem
  7. Cabaye has a goal in him or a wonder pass, Anita doesn't.
  8. RUBBISH !!! If he wasn't a footballer he wouldn't be here or be able to afford £10k for a snide British driving licence that he didn't need I know a number of wealthy Nigerians & Kenyan students studying in the UK who could pull it off.
  9. The wide lads have looked tired for a few weeks.
  10. I know my spelling isn't the best on here (i type at the speed of light at work) but Fuzzy's use of the letter e is troubling me.
  11. Looked worse in slow motion. Don't think he meant to hurt Nasri but he certainly meant to bring him down. Just a yellow.
  12. Really think that court case played a big part in his bad form. If he wasn't a footballer he would be doing time for that.... shit was real.
  13. He gave away the ball loads in the first half too. Really simple balls. Did well defensively up against a fresh Navas too
  14. Maybe it's a tad harsh. But his jogging back always annoys me
  15. At fault for the second goal. He can see Negredo and decides to continue to swan back instead of sprint.
  16. He's been watching too much NFL with the celebration of the block
  17. He's a great captain. Did tremendous to keep his head. Ah well..... just another 3 years before that happens again.
  18. Was great today. As great as Tiote has been, keeping him on instead of Anita makes no sense when we are trailing in a game.
  19. Bring him on and we'll lose a player.
