this genuinely made me laugh. -
Article is BS. The lad is terrible.

The 442 he played for 80% of the matches the season prior including victories at Chelsea and against Man Utd? Or the 433 that did us well for about 6 games? Even then the only difference was the on form striker swapped position with the misfiring one. Cisse started the season up front, couldn't hit a barn door. Played 6 games out wide, no goals. Went upfront and scored something like 6 league goals in 15. Starts this season crap again upfront. So bad he gets dropped and looks largely crap whenever he comes on. 1 league goal. The common denominator here is that he's been playing turd. I would love to get 8m back for him. His all round game is poor, he lacks footballing intelligence and his finishing is not good enough alone to warrant a regular starting place.

Best was hardly prolific like. 10 goals in 25 Premier league starts isn't bad at all, especially for someone who was stepping up a division. Aye, it's hardly indicative of a manager who doesn't know how to get his strikers scoring.
-
bollocks it did. He only moved to RW after a dozen or so games of which he had only scored a couple goals 1 of which came off his arse. We even gave him a penalty to take to boost his confidence... he missed that too
-
Cisse has scored more than 10 goals in a top flight league season 4 times. Banging them in from all angels before Pardew.
-
Hilarious. At what point is the players fault? Ameobi and Cisse are the only strikers under Pardew to not have had a decent goal return.
-
We have nobody central with a bit of guile or a regular goal threat tbh except Cabs
-
Aye well thank God you're not a football manager mate
-
That's why you're an accountant.
-
Interesting to know how much they are paying. Cisse's value would be in that ballpark.

I saw an old West Ham game on Sky the other day. Defoe's been a tidy finisher for a long time, I don't think his games gotten any better since he was like 23

Rooney would have to cough up over 10m ffs. And his market value and Man Utd. would receive towards 25m considering they rejected bids in the summer -
Seems an interesting appointment. If West Brom are able to get this kind of manager, then there is no reason why we can't. That's why it's a bit frustrating when people say "No one would want to come here" or "Who would we get" when folks want Pardew replaced. Obviously, there's no certainty he will be good, but still the guy appears to have some pedigree, and a far more positive approach. You look at the likes of Pochettino at Southampton, and the difference he made straight away, and you can't help but wonder. It's not NUFC that's the issue, we have had plenty of big name managers in the past. It's Mike Ashley's approach. This year we've seen foreign managers take the FA and League cup more seriously than British ones.

It's funny ow a lo of he British managers have a reputation for being dour & negative in terms of appoach. Although WBA were still bombing forward despite being 2 up against Villa tbf.
-
A massive fraud. At least Redknapp has put together some decent football playing sides, gives youths a chance and ahs shown some stylistic adaptability. Allardyce? The man is terrible.
-
Strikers in his mould have to learn how to be wide forwards now. That Berahino lad from West Brom would've been a numbe 9 type striker 10 years ago. Seems a very tidy finisher.
-
Wouldnt pay £1.8m after seeing him a few times time season Aye that's it... judge him on those few appearances
-
Winning the attendances despite the football and players being turd is a real and important thing in football tbh.
