Aye, it's going to require some smarts from Pardew, knowing how to use Sissoko differently in certain games. Someone made a brilliant post about Yaya, and how Mancini shifts him back and forwards depending on the situation and the opposition. Against Stoke we really needed someone with technique as the furthest forward midfielder, eventually that came in the form of Marveaux. Agreed.

So that's 3 in 9 in the real world?
-
I have multiple degrees like but aye, keep running the same tired joke.

Since when is Darren Bent a terrible footballer? He's a, last shoulder of the defender striker. Just how people have been describing how Cisse should play. Would Pippo Inzaghi, with great first time shots and volleys be better? Point is, that lad doesn't offer very much to the team general play. Not sure Cisse's prolific enough to carry. When he tries to get involved like against Stoke, he was terrible at it.

If I say something negative about a player it's like i've insulted your mothers ffs. Sometimes he should slow it down is all i'm saying. He can do that from time to time when the situation calls for it you know.
-
They where a few times in the last game, he skipped past two, looked up and should've played it simple. You know, knowing when to go for the jugular. i don't constantly criticise good players for no reason. I criticise our under-performers the most because they deserve it. Colo & Cisse have been under-par for most of the season. Rarely say anything negative about Krul or Cabaye because they haven't deserved it.

I'm just saying, in that one game, Siss passing was poor. Sometimes, he should be more patient. No more, no less. I know we wear black & white but you can criticise a performance whilst still being happy with the player. Am I allowed to criticise the one performance? I say something true and factual. I then get told it's fine that he lost the ball so much because he's trying to create and that I must want him to pass like Jonas. I mention, other players' who create loads for their sides have much higher pass completion than what Siss showed against Stoke and now i'm being unfair! A

Course it's worth mentioning. If you're #10 can't find his man, your team will struggle to create. His passing was the worst in our side. People liek to say I am biased so i'm bringing facts.

If you're planning to build a team. Ba and Lukaku are good enough.
-
Terry's excellent at the basics of defending. Can also play a bit. Just has no pace.
-
Why not? They are bottom of the form table with an absolute stinker of a run-in. To get relegated, they need to remain bottom of the form table for another 9 games. All they need is a mini-revival and they're safe. They'll do it. Norwich (H) Everton (H) Villa (A) Stoke (H) Southampton (H) IMO they should pick up 6-7 points from all of those and might nick a draw elsewhere. O'Neill's a poor manager today but he'll do enough to get a couple results out.
-
Can't see Sunderland not managing to pick up 5/6 points in 9 more games.

Was his passing good on Sunday? Did he find his man? He always look for the hard pass to make so that the attack wont stop up. He dont turn and look for a safe pass to halt the attack like Jonas. Is there a medium between losing the ball and halting the attack and a Jonas pass? You know, the type Yaya Toure or Juan Mata make? Funnily enough. When playing alongside Perch & Bigi, Tiote didn't get nearly as much slack for trying hollywood balls "all the time".

-
He doesn't make himself open for the pass. He just stands. He doesn't want the ball.
-
Seriously, was he playing in defence second half? He does hide btw, from the ball.
-
Agreed. Yesterday his running was wasted by poor passing.
-
Toure too. Passing 80% or better at AM.
-
No. Stoke played very deep and where rarely there to be countered. We needed a more patient approach. Wait for the right pass.
-
So if we take another stat into consideration then? Dribbling? Hatem makes and is successful with a hell of a lot of runs, but will be tackled. But becuase he tries these dribbles in the final third does this mean that for example, Jonas who does his dribbling in our last third mean he is better than Ben Arfa? No, it doesnt, so please stop talking s***. Its called taking risks and I am pleased Sissoko has the awareness and attacking intent to atleast try these passes. Because when they come off, we get rewards. I'm comparing him to Juan fucking Mata. The first ro second highest assister in the league not fucking Jonas.
-
If you're #10 always gives the ball away he won't create.
-
Exactly my point.
-
Yaya Toure, Juan Mata, Wilshere. 3 players in the exact same position as Siss in the last few weeks. 80% minimum. Mole, you try to disagree with me but then end up agreeing with my point in the end. He wasn't "Boss" yesterday.
-
Liek I said earlier. The N-O has decided he does too much on the ball. Despite using it well or keeping it yesterday.
-
What do you mean trying to do too much? Holding on to the ball too long silly attempts on dribbling, all that twisting and turning bullshit and trying to pick out cutting edge passes. His role is to get the ball and then get rid of it, preferably a simple short ball to his nearest team mate. As above pretty much, that's what I mean. From what I've seen watching him live this season he seems to get caught out of position too much and caught in posession by being in the wrong position. W 58 out of 63 passes made. 59 short. His longer ones included 2 good chances for us. Made all his take ons. But aye, doing too much.
