Yep. We swapped positions with Spurs when SBR was sacked and we've been jelly ever since.
-
Aye, City are only on course to finish with over 90 points. Also comfortably out the CL in the group stages.
-
He'll be banned from the group games but I reckon they'll still take him.
-
Yep, they are legit. Aside fom Modric. They could cope with medium term injuries to their first XI. Harry rotated the side for cup games so there's little reason for them to tire. Bale for example, has played 18 games this season. Evra has played 25. Doubt they'll win it. Their goals come from everywhere but none of their strikers are prolific. I reckon every title winning side needs someone to rescue a sticky situation. I don't think Spurs have a Ronaldo, Rooney or even an Aguero. But they'll be up there in the end. I wouldn't bet against them snatching it. Neither Manchester side are that good.

A lot of these players will come good in time. N'Zog for starters.
-
We need a left footer in the side. Either at LB or LM.
-
Fletcher's never been a defensive midfielder and Carrick is far from workman like. He's a cultured player who needs a combative player alongside. They need someone capable of controlling that midfield area. Any type really. The more offensive Fabregas type or the more deep Alonso type. The raging Toure type. Something. Sneijder's pretty much always been the RvV mould. Rarely dictates a game but is a proven match-winner. Don't think they need him. I believe Rio's been the best British defender of his generation but this must be his last season as a starter.

They are in with a decent shout of competing for the title, it's CL minimum at this point. Back 'Arry, get into the CL they should be able to attract a top manager. I reckon with them being out of Europe they'll finish in the top 4 regardless. Strengthen, and they'll be top 3 and automatically in imo.
-
I've said this before but his appearance makes people under-rate his ability. He's not got defenders bouncing off him like Didier in his prime nor tearing past defenders like Eto'o. He's not particularly strong nor fast and doesn't rely on a rocket shot. A genuine box terrorist. In the air, 1 on 1, volleys, raspers, poachers goals, big headers, touch and turn. Superb.

Yep. Nani had an off day and Valencia isn't a defender but he gave them something to think about defensively. Relieved pressure, kept the ball and made them run towards there own goal. Jonas helped him out defensively obviously which will help him in the future. Get this lad playing week-in week-out and he'll be awesome imo.

drogba is powerful striker use his physical strength for his game. Demba is different he is a very technical gifted striker. More like van persie, henry, nistelroy or batistuta. Their skill & technique in front of goal is second to none. Yep. More RVN than Drogba.

Thats not gonna happen. If he's warming the bench next season he'll be sold at some point in the follwing 18 months. Very difficult to have two class fullbacks vying for the same position. Eventually one loses out and is sold. Happened to Sylvinho & Bridge (both because of Cole lol) at the height of their prowess.
-
That's a redundant comparison. Neither of them had a player of Ben Arfa's type to leave on the bench. The next manager found it very easy to drop Larry Robert. A man who rarely bothered to pretend to track back.
-
Might aswell go in for Martinez on that logic. He built the foundation for that club and will play decent football all the way until his team finally get relegated.
-
Arguably, that's more than Danny Boy has got going for him. Tbf I think he's a better defender than Raylor obviously but he's horrid on the ball. I'd play Simo ahead of Raylor when we are against better wingers but in general I don't want to see him.
-
Direct football doesn't always have to be s****. With the right players it can be extremely effective and entertaining, especially in England. It's only entertaining when your winning. The worst part of this, is that it doesn't benefit our better players very much. Most of our lads can play a bit.
-
They'll be in the top 8, if not this season. The next. He can do that with any PL team imo. Won't ever do better than 7th for any side he could realistically manage.
-
I'm scared S'land will overtake us.
-
The standard of the league has fallen in the last couple years. Mourinho made everyone step their games up.
-
Wouldn't mind at all except that it would make Ben Arfa a waste of money. Would just love players of that type in our side.
-
Ruiz has looked good for what i've seen of him and he'll only get better. Imagine him instead of Mr. Potato-Head

Yohan in particular could've easily seen straight red. -

Him & Tiote have 9 yellow cars between them right? Not a good look. I keep saying this but i'd like to see him in a more advanced role. -
Who was our top 3 players in attempted and completed passes tonight and what was the totals? Seems like he had loads of the ball compared to everyone else.
