I don’t think that alone is enough in the PL anymore. Especially when losing a game. You got to penetrate with the passing. If you don’t, you should be impactful off the ball. Lewis Shelly a couple times tried or pulled off really forward thinking balls. It’s easier from fullback but we need Miley to get the confidence to really impose himself on games.

I’d start Willock over Miley. Willock is better suited to an early high press game

Yep he’s an excellent fit for Eddie and our team. But he’s no better than Eze or Cunha, no reason for a club to pay £20m more for Gordon. Gordon isn’t even consistent with the work rate which is a differentiator from those types of players.

Ppl here always want to sell players on the low. You sell players when they are performing at a high level so you get the best fee.

His mistake lead to the goal. And his body language often looks frustrated which delays him actually trying to play football. He did really well for like 10 minutes after the goal. He knew it was him.

Gordon is a good player. But I don’t think he’s an elite one. Doesn’t have enough technically in his locker. His best games require a level of mental focus he doesn’t seem capable of sustaining
