  1. That's f***ing ridiculous. Made 1 save that my mother could have made in the first half, and grabbed a rebound off the post whilst lying flat on his back. And that, by my reckoning, was that. Saved the one on on with Yakabu too, i love to see his name there, i guess its mostly because the other keepers didn't do much as well this week. Can't remember that one even though I watched the whole game. Alcohol. I must admit i can't remember a one on one with Yakubu??
  2. Dear me. he's a disgrace and some of our fans (my best mate included in that) still cannot see it.
  3. That's fucking ridiculous. Made 1 save that my mother could have made in the first half, and grabbed a rebound off the post whilst lying flat on his back. And that, by my reckoning, was that. made 2 saves in the 1st half mind, there was an offside flag i think but he didn't know that at the time. otherwise he had nowt to do and actually dived in completely the wrong direction when Fellaini missed the sitter in injury time.
  4. Fuck him, he can rot away on the bench far as I'm concerned. That Judas cunt can fuck off for me anarl. Burned his bridges when he jumped ship when he was needed most.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

He's a Superstar and he comes from France He makes us sing and he makes us dance He's Ben Arfa Oh hatem ben Arfa Oh hatem ben Arfa
  6. Played well. Tiote giving him the time and space to play.
  7. Actually I'd play Jonas, Nolan hasn't been good and he's fat too Nolan. He's played well today. he has.
  8. He's had a canny first half today mind.
  9. Campbell likely to start and then No Routledge or Jonas in the team?????????
  10. This is an interesting debate. We have seen Internationals come in and when they are sh*t they the usual excuses about them not being suited for the English game are trotted out. Ben Arfa is a French International - TWO starts and a handful of sub appearances in friendlies technically makes him a French International but is not a ringing endorsement. Tiote is not really known to me. To say he is a regular for his country does seem to be overstating it though. He started the three WC matches but had not played for the team prior to that. I will wait and see and hope for good things!! Bassedas was an Argentinian INternational. Nacho Gonzalez was a Urugauy International who also played at the World Cup. Xisco is a Spanish U21 International. Having seen little if anything of Tiote or Ben Arfa people are hyping them up as the next great thing and using irrational hatred of Nolan and Smith to do so.
  11. People like Boularouze had number 10 (or 9? ) once. (Was it at Chelsea?) And I remember Jens Lehmann (yes, the goalkeeper) taking Nr. 9 in a qualifying campaign for Germany as he was still number 2 but refused to take number 12 as usually the second choice goalkeeper would do. and famously ardiles wore no.1 in '78 (argentina squad was done alphabetically) I must out-anorak you here and point out that it was no 2. He wore Number 1 in 1982.
  12. The best team should be played. Ben Arfa is an improvement on Nolan, Tiote is an improvement on Smith. Therefore the changes should be made. Infact it might act to give Chrissy's Captains a kick up the fucking arse. I haven't a clue whether they are improvements or not. Ben Arfa had a 15 minute cameo in a team chasing the game and changing tactics with each substitution. Tiote i've never heard of and never seen play (or if i have seen him at the WC i can't remember, not even sure i watched any Ivory Coast games tbh).
  13. In January that year after we played West Ham at home we were sitting in 11th Place. We had a pretty tough run in but also had 3 very winnable last home games against Pompey, Boro and Fulham which should have seen us stay up. I think we'll be okay, but need to make sure we have no more days at home like we did on saturday and treat every game as a hard game/cup final and not expect certain teams to just roll over for us which seemed to be the attitude in the first half on saturday.
  14. I agree it was one of those days but in 08/09 under JFK we went on a little run in the autumn and had a few decent results which saw us within touching distance of 8th at one point after beating Aston Villa comfortably at home 2-0 so to say we couldn't get into the last 3rd or create chances then is wide of the mark (copyright Alan Oliver with 25 years on the United beat).
  15. At least he can cross a ball though. Second half after Routledge went off Perch had 2 great opportunities to get a good ball over and fluffed them both. Awful tackle for his booking as well.
  16. I like him but thought he was gash throughout today.
  17. There's an Alehouse at the top of International Drive near Universal Studios that shows PL Games. Otherwise there are couple of bars near downtown Kissimmee (Fox and Hounds and Queen Vic) that also show games. You may be charged a cover charge to get in though.
  18. For saturday the whole of Level 7 Milburn is showing as sold out except for the Gallowgate corner which is almost sold out. People buying Milburn Level 7 Tickets and just standing in the Leazes Corner perhaps?
  19. Even if they're shut you should be able to go to main reception and be let in.
  20. this is, for me, the real start of the season. transfer windows gone and the two week break is over. games week in/out for a bit. this is the nitty gritty, the paper talk is over.....................tell you what,it'll only be real when the floodlights come on for the 2nd half. Week in week out for a bit? The next international break is only 3 or 4 weeks away man.
  21. Replace grandparents with missus and exactly the same happened to me because his missus works with my mom, dont know why she is living down this way mind. Mebbes he met her while at Man Utd?
  22. Dunno about narrowed but it was definately shortened prior to last seasons Championship Campaign. If you look at the goals and corner flags you can see where the byline and corner flags were beforehand, was shortened by about a yard. Dunno whether it's been put back to the way it was as i wasn't here for the Villa game.
  23. pretty sure he lives out in the wilds. Aye lives in a village not far from me. My ex-gf's from East Ayton, Ujpest, did you see her? He He, nah was a pit stop en route to Primrose Valley buying Ice Lollies and Pampers Night Time Pull Up Pants for the little un!!!! He was in front of me in the queue with who i presumed to be his 14/15 yr oldish son. He was wearing flip flops and shorts (ot was scorching) and got into a proper old style Land Rover.
