He's saying that in the dark and distant past before proper regulation of them, Steve Black was a pub Bouncer in Newcastle and his favoured trick was to rake his boot down your shin and onto your foot and has taught this move to Sissoko and Mitrovic. -

Lots of people here are a tad blind, it was never a red all day. Actually, it was, did you not notice he got sent off ? Ah, I see. All refereeing decisions are on the money and never wrong then. Good to know. Make sure you let all the fans in the ground know so they don't bother going mental when one of our players gets sent off for lightly touching an opposition player on his shinpad. Really glad I checked this thread, it's been bothering me for a while but now I know mistakes are never made I can carry on. You're kidding right ? Of course refs get it wrong sometimes. He missed the Arsenal penalty, it was a mistake. The red card was bang on Mitro went straight down the lads shin, the ball was long gone. His only intention was to hurt him. A clear red. I seriously don't know what all the winging about it is for. You are f***ed in the head if you think there was any intention to hurt in that challenge like. EDIT: in fact I'd say that the fact there was no intention to hurt the lad is about the only thing people in here agree about, except you obviously. I guess we'll just have to disagree on that one. Although I don't see any need for insults. I still think the ref was correct. what a crock of shit. -
Ayoze Perez by a country mile.
-
Mmmm. He started up front on his own against Chelsea and was replaced by Cisse in about the 55th Minute when the score was 0-0. Cisse bagged a brace and we won 2-1. Perez is excellent but isn't a lone striker, he's an attacking midfielder.

To be fair everything he's said has been widely reported and not contested or sued.

Throw in to Man United!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're taking your horseplop talking levels to new heights here. OK. Simple question... Taking off any black and white specs that we all wear, if those tackles were made on our players would we or would we not have been shouting for reds. i don't see that it's even a 'tackle'. mitro has gone to try & trap/play the ball as it comes down & when the arsenal dude gets his foot in 1st mitro's boot goes straight down his shin. never a red for me & i don't think i'd be super arsed if the roles were completely reversed. Spot on which is why I say I don't think it was even a foul, just a clumsy accidental collision as he tried to get the ball under control and coqboy got in quicker.

The Mirror also said that Marriner had an excellent game in the face of severe pressure and provocation from the home crowd!!! Unbelievable! -
No, I don't agree that it was a yellow, I didn't even think it was a foul.

Would like to see that challenge done on yourself, you'd be changing your mind instantly. I doubt I'd give a fuck if someone scraped their studs down my shinpad like. Let's recreate it, I'll come round and touch your shin with my foot, see how instantly you change your mind? It was a stamp BTW, not a touch. Never in a million years was it a stamp and it wasn't worth a yellow either. He'd brought the ball down and was trying to control it, never stamped on anyone and coq boys shit reaction got the red card and nowt else.

Partly because 'he's not that type of player'. Unfortunately Mitrovic hasn't helped himself from that perspective. Ha! Gareth Barry got booked for Everton earlier on and Niall Quinn said "he's not that type of player" and the commentator pointed out that Barry is in fact the most booked player in premier league history so IS that type of player!

He was scuffling and arguing in the dugout and when he broke free he complained to the ref and pointed at the dugout. I'm assuming he got booked for asking for one of those on the bench to be sent to the stands or booked. -
I like him. Ran himself into the ground today up front on his own.

Thauvin and Bellerin had a clash of legs in the box before the sending off. Must of been something and nothing then as I can't remember any major protests etc either from their players or their arsehole fans. The commentators and pundits kept bringing it up to try and excuse all of Marriner's decisions. Mmm. Nonsense I'd say like. Our yellow cards were ridiculous. Wijnaldum's for waving an imaginery card and Colo's for scuffling with the Arsenal bench being 2 in particular which were ludicrous. He'd given us a throw in prior to booking Colo and only gave them a free kick after Colo protested about the players on the bench grabbing him. -
I thought he was superb today, held the back 4 together and was very very vocal organising the back 4.

Some great shot stopping but some poor distribution.

Magnificent today and substitions were all positive attacking moves as well. Take a lot of heart from that. -
That was never a red card in amillion years, accidental contact and the 34 rolled around like a squealing little girl.
