I don't really follow Dutch football, is he actually any good? Did he go to the World Cup last year?

Sapporro I think it was in Japan where England beat Argentina had a pitch on wheels that was wheeled in for the match and back outside afterwards onto a big open area.

However you look at it, its still horrendous bad luck for where the ball went. Awful way to lose, not truly beaten. England were fantastic as well, much the better team.

Think it's quite common in football in general. Henrik Larsson said one of his tricks was to squeeze defenders balls ffs. Gentile did that to Steve Coppell in a WCQ for Spain 82 iirc in their 1st tackle.

I enjoyed the England game. Struggled to keep possession 1st half but much better 2nd and 2 cracking goals. The plastic pitches are doing the competition no favours at all though, they're terrible.

The season starts in August and pre-season starts in July so I certainly don't think we should reserve judgment until September, no excuses to get the signings in early No club will do all of their transfers before the start of the season. By September, we will know to what extent we have been lied to. Players not still on international duty will be on holiday and will sort out their futures when they get back.
