Aarons has built a reputation from pre-season. So did Vucic. His cameo couple of games back was horrible. At the moment I'd start Aarons as a left-back just because Haidara is shot of confidence and ability. What does this even mean? That people think he's the shit based on a few pre-season performances.

? Really. There was a situation in the first half where he'd already been beaten by pace from their full back and he then tried to beat the same man on the outside with pace and failed miserably. Most of the rest of the time he ran in to dead ends, held on to the ball too long and failed to contribute anything of significance. I'd have took him off. He's a long way from being anywhere near good enough for the money he cost. Don't agree with a lot. What you said happened twice, but plenty of times he came inside and tried to play passes to Cisse. Things weren't going his way, but he was trying to create and was getting onto the ball a lot in the first half. Especially in the latter bit of the first half. He disappeared in the 2nd half, but a lot down to being moved out of position. In matter of fact, Perez showed less in the first half than Thauvin. Not saying he was good, but he showed promise.

Problem is he can still put in a performance. He's just mentally so weak, shouldn't be our captain. We need someone to fire him up, because he can still play, but as soon as he loses interest (which happens far too often nowadays) we're doomed.

And possibly Ayoze as well in the 2nd half, doesn't take away anything though. We didn't deserve smack after how we played in the first half.

Luckily for us the Mackems and Villa are as bad as us. Still think we're going into a relegation battle and we don't have the guys to dig us out of that.

In the last 180 minutes I think he's managed to misplace 5 or 6 passes straight into the oppositions players without pressure and after about 10 seconds on the ball. How a professional footballer can manage this is beyond me. If I was McClaren I'd make this guy hit 1000 passes to a teammate without a miss every training before allowing him near the starting XI again. It's just shameful. I get it happens when under pressure, but he's done it with all the time in his world and this is the reason why Anita has to start for us.

Seriously, I don't mind this guy in the squad, but no way he should be starting. Looks very weak when it comes to challenges. I don't like Dummett either though.

Both him and Ighalo were too much for Colo to handle. I'm very excited about Mbemba pairing up with a physical central defender. We really need one becasue Mbemba looks the real deal and he needs a more physical player to play with him. Also, we need Mitrovic back, lets just hope he's not sent off against City.

One of the worst on the pitch. Didn't win a header (don't really expect him to either but he was late in the air every single time) and also slides way to much when it's not needed like an amateur. Stay on your feet ffs.
