Undeserved pen for PSG.
-
Got to say Thiago Silva has been back to his best for this 35mins. Been very very composed.
-
So PSG starts with Marquinhos - Silva - Luiz - Maxwell in defense against Galtiers St Etienne. Blanc is challenged, because playing his best CB at RB is a crime.

Always been a good player for the national team.

Everton Ribeiro is apparently going to be earning roughly £400k a month. Quite a step up from his Brazilian salary. Exactly. It's easy for people to say it's a waste and not but the pay increase is huge. Obviously, but at the same time, he's 25 and was called up to the Brazilian national team for the first time recently. He is basically throwing that away, which is hard for us fans to understand. As for him, that money will only do him good probably. Yea, it really must be difficult for the average fan to understand. I don't know anything of his background if he's working class and has an extended family a lot of decisions become merely business ones. Absolutely. But big teams in Europe were rumoured to be scouting him. Man U have shown interest over the last year or so. Now he'll be playing in a league where Grafite at almost 100 years of age is scoring almost a goal per game.

I get money means a lot, but both of them were being called up by Dunga and are genuinely good footballers in their prime. They've now thrown that away to go to China and Dubai. Same goes for Tardelli who left Atletico MG for China but he's 30 or so and at the end of his career. I'd assumed their 3rd party owners would have made the decision? Read the article you posted in the other thread, hope your league gets its act together. Student of mine who's big into football was telling me about it and he's pessimistic though. The third part owner owned 40% so I'd guess they had a big say, but ultimately it's the players decision. As for Cruzeiro, they've earned a decent fee and will most probably have to restart after two great years. Big test for their manager who has been winning everything with that team. As for the league, yeah it's ridiculous.

TBF the best usually come to Europe and do well here for couple of years and then get full of that money and decide to party. These guys are just ruining their careers. Fine, they'll earn more now than they probably would in Europe, but I wonder how much money means compared to a call up to the World Cup.

Cruzeiro, who have won the Brazilian league two times in a row have just sold both their best players who also were becoming internationals to two poor leagues. Goulart to China for €15m and now Everton Ribeiro (very good little player twice voted best player in Brazilian league) to Al Ahli for €15m as well. Oh as well as Lucas Silva to Real for close to another €15m. Probably their three best players.

How the f*** do you know if it is bad for him financially? TCD knows everything.

U-20 South American championship is being played right now and top goal scorer is Giovanni Simeone, Diego Simeone's son with 6 goals in four games. Plays for River Plate in Argentina. 2nd round about to start tomorrow with group stage system with the three best teams from two groups.

Jackie Chan popped up in my mind as well when I saw that.
-
That should be at a minimum 3 matches, 4 or 5 is more apt
-
Wow. It's just ridiculously easy.
-
First goal was always going to do that.
-
Too easy 21goals now. Going to catch up with Ronaldo real soon.
-
The whole play is amazing.
-
Messi and Neymar really taking the piss at the moment.
-
What a goal from Barcelona!

Not when Pardew is still in the competition. I said big boys mate. That fraud doesn't really register with me these days. I know, I just meant I rather they were still in it as it mean Pardew has less of a chance. His chances have grown tenfolds with these results
