Nah, you made it seem like he somehow betrayed or spurned Brazil to play for Mexico. Don't think that was ever in the cards for him, despite who his father is. Yeah I actually respect all from the NFL thread We respect you too Felipao. You weren't actually one of the ''idiots'' I rarely read your posts on this side of the forum.

Yeah that was never my initial point either, had to clarify that for Sewelly. At the same I've said I actually respect Diego Costa's decision and all. Unfortunately, some idiots from the NFL thread just pick up on the things I write that fits them.

Not yet, not sure he's started doing light training even. Was couple weeks back I last read something on him though, so not sure what progress he's made. But I guess he'll be there fit enough to play. f*** outta here, Flip. Already proved my point. Also coming from an American? Fuck off.

This team should just attack attack attack.

That's why I've been saying that I think Chile and Spain might go through comfortably. Unfortunately Vidal might not be matchfit come the first games of the World Cup but hopefully that doesn't affect them too much. The dutch look really weak on paper and on the pitch. Even France beat them 2-0 in a friendly.

What are you on about? You're aware that his father is Zizinho? A brazilian footballer who made a career in Mexico? Really detest when people are condescending when they're wrong. I'm aware who his dad is Flip but he's Mexican. Right, you're very aware who is dad is yet posted what you did? Maybe I should've made it clearer, should've put ''players with Brazilian connections who could've picked the Brazilian national team would they have wanted too''. Well he's half Brazilian ain't he? Rooney is Irish going by your logic Actually have no idea, but if one of his parents are Irish it would make him half Irish. Same way Thiago is Spanish despite not being born there or having parents from there.

So Motta, Romulo, Diego Costa, Pepe, Thiago, Giovani dos Santos, Eduardo who else is Brazilian and will be playing for another national team at this World Cup?

Orion plays in the Argentine league with Boca Juniors as for Andujar I suppose you haven't watched much of Argentina? Started a few games and has played a s*** load for Catania if I'm not mistaken. Okish keepers both of them. Are they both better than Caballero? I guess Caballero has dropped a few clangers this season for Malaga. Haven't seen much of Malaga or Catania tbh. Orion I've seen very few times as well and from what I've seen he's okish player. Caballero has never even played for the national team so no surprises that he wasn't called up tbh.

Been resting himself so he can take the piss out of everyone at the WC

As expected Tevez left out. Mistake. An injury to Messi, Di Maria or Aguero and they're deeply fucked. That defense is pure meh. Germany, Brazil and Spain all have stronger squads in my opinion.
-
You could've started with 3 deep midfielders, you'd still have lost by 3-0 that day. Everything went in our favour as our players were more up to it. Think the injuries to Vidal and Strootman might actually guarantee you a top place in the group. Would love to see an Argentina v Spain semi-final.

Frank de Boer Didn't know that was done...
-
What do you think of Torres? Yeah didn't even see that Villa made the squad. I'd keep Negredo and Llorente personally. Both are very good player. Luxury problem not knowing whether to cut Thiago or Cazorla ffs That midfield. You think it will be Xabi - Busquets behind Xavi and Iniesta on the left, really don't think they should go that way.
-
Poor Southampton if Pochettino signs for Spurs. Could definitely see Pochettino try and go for Coutinho in that case if Lallana goes to Liverpool.
-
That squad Who would you cut from that squad? For me Moreno, Iturraspe and Torres are must cuts. I'd guess you don't have to bring that many fullbacks either with Ramos being able to play on the right so whoever won't start between Juanfran and Carvajal could possibly be cut as well. Also Arturo Vidal had knee surgery the other day and will be out for 5 weeks, will be interesting to see if he makes it to the World Cup fit. Would be huge blows for Netherlands and Chile to be without Strootman and Vidal.
-
Yup will be interesting. Wonder if they're going for someone younger and cheaper or if someone like Mandzukic who is as much of a fighter on the pitch as Diego Costa would be a possibility. He'd obviously be quite expensive but definitely think £15-20m is within the right price range for him and he'd offer everything Diego does as well.

Bigi Bigi and Diego Simeone images always gets me for some reason.
-
It does apertura and clausura, but that's really it. And you can buy a team and move it wherever you feel like it as well.
-
No doubt about it. Especially central defenders need to learn, young player coming right out of college would learn massively of playing alongside someone like him.

I'm going to see if I can bring a Pardew out banner into the Arena Fonte Nova. Will see 6 games there and one of the tickets are right behind the bench for the France game (maybe behind the French players rather than the Swiss players). Would be hilarious if I got that s*** into the stadium for all games. At least a piece of paper following the ''Flip in Salvador wants PARDEW OUT''

Barton isn't good enough for the Premier League. Kranjcar has been terrible as well. I like Jordi Gomez but he's proven it many times before he's not cut to make it in this league.
