Punchable faces thread, be surprised if he's not already in it I just hope Chile and Spain roll all over them in the World Cup. Or let Brazil do it in a last 16 round meeting. Fucking despise that man.

That's one of the dumbest things you've said, and by God you've said some dumb things. He also has a relegation to his name, if we're going to make stupid arguments. Moyes is a good manager. Martinez is a good manager. Martinez has benefited massively from the foundation that Moyes built at Everton. His teams leaked goals for fun at Wigan, and he wasn't able to fix it over three God damn years, that's how good he was. Moyes created a solid foundation and Martinez has expanded on it, but credit still must be given to Moyes for building the team. Let's judge Everton three years down the line when Martinez has time to sign more players like Alcaraz and that gimp he spent £5m on who hasn't done s***. Yes his philosophy is to be admired and yes Everton have been brilliant to watch, but Moyes' track record is far better because he experienced sustained success. Martinez's success so far has been fleeting. I'd take Moyes over Martinez if I had to pick one manager today for our club, given our (self imposed) financial constraints. Martinez is the better candidate if you have the money to sign the best players but we don't and won't ever, and Moyes has proven himself at a club like us. How are Everton, where Moyes had free rein to buy exactly the players he wanted and build exactly the structure he wanted, a "club like us"? He couldn't be less of a fit for what we are tbh. I was talking more about the financial constraints, mate. I genuinely feel Moyes would be better for us than Martinez, given what we are and where we are. Better candidate at a club with money? Yet he's been able to win an FA Cup and now do a good job with Everton without spunking the cash. Moyes has had more money available to him as well as a better team and done far worse this season. Martinez is a manager that has his philosophy about football and never backs down from trying to pass his way to wins rather than switch tactics every game depending on opposition. He plays to his strengths not opponents weaknesses. I'd have Martinez here any day of the week over Moyes, especially considering he's never really had a club where he could attract very good players. Now that doesn't mean I wouldn't have Moyes here. I think Moyes is a good manager, I've just always held high regard for Martinez management style.

I hope they appoint van Gaal and he's an extreme failure. More dislikeable manager is impossible to find.
-
Nope they said april but switched to may. So I'd guess anytime in the coming three weeks.

No idea where he got hurt though. Did he sprain his ankle?

OI. I meant that the poor guy hasn't scored yet, bet he would love to stumble one in the net. f***ing calling me out like that Mike's a dick. He has a subtle way at doing these types of stuff with his smilies and shit. Fraud. (learned from him with that smily)

I'm sorry what!! When the f*** did that enter your head! f***ing ages ago, man. When it was all "He's gonna make a big signing!" and s***. This was in the before times. When we had hope. Was it as bad as this? Why you gotta be that dude, ffs. This is who you are? First happy day as a Knicks fan in like 5 years and this is how you act? People, man. Don't call him people. He's a f***ing dick. F*ck Mike.

Should have spent more money on their squad depth IMO. Wow.

Aguero I really think that without his injuries City would've won this league comfortably.

Chelsea aren't even close to having the same weaknesses as Man U man. Terry, Cahill, Azpi, Ramires are all top players in this league. I agree you need a manager, but Man U have not bought well when trying to replace in defense. Rafael looks horrid under Moyes, so does Evra/Buttner or so on. Jones and Smalling and Evans are all mediocre players while Vidic and Ferdinand are on decline.
-
Pochettino here, Moyes there, Pardew at Man U. Done.

Their back four is absolute horse-shit It's a really unbalanced team, but any team with a striking force like that can win a World Cup.

Why play with a holding midfielder? It's pointless in international football in 2014. Gerrard's the best option to sit deep and concentrate on playing the better pass. Since when did Alonso, Mascherano and Busquets become obsolete in international football? England doesn't have too many options in that particular position, I'll give you that, but I kind of like Huddlestone >_> Only Mascherano is a pure DM. Busquets and Alonso are passers first and foremost - like Gerrard. Gerrard lacks their positional sense however. What do you mean by a passer? Alonso and Busquets are two very different type of midfielders. Busquets is a player that makes it tick, but he's nowhere near a sitting playmaker a la Alonso or Gerrard at this stage. I would disagree. While he doesn't switch play or attempt to launch a counter with a long diagonal he's definitely a passer first and foremost. Playmaker? Not really, he plays with Xavi, Iniesta and Fabregas. What puts Busquets over the top is his technique and speed of passing. 3 touches max. and he's turned and passed it forward, perfectly weighted. Defensively, Javi Martinez (who is probably a better all-round player) and even Mascherano are better due to being more mobile but Busquets is a smoother passer. Oh I agree with you with what you said. I was just wondering if you were putting both of them in the same bracket. By saying he's a player that makes it tick I meant that he plays a fast football and is the heart of that team. For me Busquets is easily the best DM around, everything he does he does well.

EA has released their virtual images of inside the stadium for the new game. Basically showing what it's supposed to look like. http://www.easports.com/2014-fifa-world-cup/news-updates-gameplay/article/ea-sports-2014-fifa-world-cup-stadiums Some cool images there.

Been some progress over the last couple of days which is certainly a relief. Seemed like nothing was happening for a while. The stadium in itself is ready, it's the seats and the outer part of the stadium that is missing. Seats will be easy to fix and they can definitely finish that in a week. It's the outside of the arena that I'm worried about. No streets, no nothing for fans which is very very worrying. They have a month to get all of that ready. Actually less but they won't be ready until the 15th of May when FIFA takes over.

Remy, Cabaye, Debuchy and Anita ... the rest can get f***ed. Anita hasn't been good by any means compared to the other three tbh. Without Remy we can't score, so he has to be our player of the year.

Was so well timed as well. Alexis missed an open goal right there. Barcelona could've scored three already.
-
Wow. Aduriz. What a goal that would've been.
-
This Barcelona team must be the worst team in the league in finishing. If Pedro, Neymar and Alexis could finish they would've won the league by a mile. Dat pass from Messi to Pedro
