True, I remember being pissed on for suggesting him by some. Although a lot were because people didn't want a man who defend that tackle on Haidara. Which is understandable but even the best have their flaws and will defend their team no matter what.

This. Yeah in short that's it. Anyone saying no to Moyes because of his Man U stint is so short-sighted.
-
Fair enough, my only ciritcism has only been that he was never able to get the right players in to form a team. I still put it a bit down that he had to pay more to attract other players as they would never get the players for right prices as other clubs would be in there. His way of football is for me the right way of football. Not saying he's god, but I've always said I want ball on the floor and passing to create chances. I'm also glad that Rodgers, Pellegrini and Martinez are joining Wenger in showing that an attacking football is the way to go. Anyways, anything to sack this piece of shit we have no wil do it for me. Except Bruce, I don't want Steve Bruce.

Ronaldo you're being very harsh on Martinez. His team has never been about possession the same way Barcelona or even Swansea played couple years back. He has his team attacking, playing from the ground, but his Wigan side usually tried to attack all the times. I like him and said w should've replaced him with Pardew. Was very impressed by his Wigan side no matter if they lost or won, then again I'm not ALL about results at times like these so anything pleasing to the eye is enough for me. I'd have Moyes here no doubt, but then again I'd have Ali Baba and The Forthy Thieves here if it meants Pardew gone.

So you basically want a Madrid final
-
I'd do most things to see Atletico win the double tbh. They were pretty poor yesterday, I would love to see them rise to the occasion next week. Bayern v Atletico for me. Although a Madrid final wouldn't be too shabby either. In other words, anything other than Chelsea PLEASE

Is Atletico a possession based team now? Or do you mean yesterday?

Especially Alonso, has provided some abysmal performances in the leauge and El Clasico lately. My man of the match. When you get to his age.. any dip in form and people (well me and you and VI I think) will say your legs have gone but he showed today he's an absolute monster of a player. Every pass well timed and thought. You have to fancy Madrid getting at least 1 on the break at the Allianz. Was all over the pitch in the 2nd half, blocked Muller and also blocked Robbens chance in the first half which probably would've been 1-1 otherwise. Still don't think he's as good as he used to as he can't do it consistently, but was immense tonight. Although it's not strange when you start questioning a player when he's been pretty average for a whole season. I fancy Real to get 1 or 2 at Allianz, the same way I fancy Bayerns ability to score 3-4 against them. Dortmund had a far more difficult challenge in the 2nd leg and were a post from taking it to extra time. 3-0 can make you lazy. They'll be razor sharp next week (I hope) But then again, Bayern is still the best team in Europe and with one of the best fans in Europe behind them I can really see them getting a goal early and putting pressure on Real. It's really open. Glad Real won it narrow as it will force Bayern to attack next week. (probably miss the game as I'll be landing when the game starts )

Coentrao was very good, completely nullified Robben.

Without knowing what movies4men is, it was that that got me since it was Ronaldo who posted. Must've been him who gave that channel the name.

Definitely the two best players on the pitch.

Like a film I saw on one of those movies4men channels loosely based on Red Riding Hood where the main character (and her grandma) were savagely raped. Wow

You could almost call it a masterclass. Whatever. Masterclass would've meant this tie was over already. Should be, but for some inexplicably dodgy finishing from very, very presentable chances. And Bayern didn't? Götze should've scored and so should've Muller there. Alonso made a fantastic tackle. Wasn't much between them, would say Real deserved a 1-0 win. No way this tie should've been over already, don't see how you can say that really. Those were both second half, Real could have gone in at half-time at 3-0 and strangled the game from there. Sure, it's all hypothetical though. Glad we got two hopefully good games coming up next week. Really enjoyed this one.

10 times better than the shit provided yesterday.
-
I thought his turn was excellent, Alonso was just better there.
-
Again you're more or less five seconds ahead.
-
Modric and Alonso have been absolute class in that midfield tonight.

Excellent tackle.

Looked like a very clear pen from far. Need to see closer though.

He's so fast, with this much space he gets so dangerous. Yip, possibly the best substitution in the world to have at that time. Unless you can put CRonaldo on there
