They really are, it's quite weird though because both Ramires and Oscar are having bad games. Basically Hazard - Willian and David Luiz running the show. The latter I have no idea why or how he's been doing this good in midfield, always poor there when I see him.
-
PSG have been asking for it. They've retreated completely. Chelsea gets all possession. See if something changes now that they've conceded.

Lavezzi must have the biggest lungs in the world Never stops running and never looks tired.

He was way too good for the first 25 minutes. Won everything, had to make a mistake. Rarely see him make mistake, but last time I was thinking he was being to ''perfect'' was when he committed that stupid pass to Cavani in the Confed Cup.

I'm willing to bet that the impeding court case will go long into the summer thus allowing you to spend like mad men in the summer and then be banned for the following two windows.

I went to the Hertha Berlin game. Smith and Shola up front That sounds so fucking terrible for someone like me who cares more about the football than anything else. Imagine going to Berlin to watch a bit of Newcastle and then see Smith and Shola up front. I'd leave the stadium and swim back to Sweden.

As harsh as it sounds. The same. Even less with the World Cup. Happy as f*** that the World Cup is this summer so you don't have to bother with any silly season s***. I see it as a good reason to go to Germany and watch Schalke at their ground ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That's absolutely fair enough, I just hope to have had enough of football by the end of the World Cup so I don't have to give a toss about our pre-season and silly season. Unless Pardew is sacked, because then I'm booking a trip to Gelsenkirchen.

Jesus I explained my reasoning. Otherwise next time you make a prediction I'll make your to include every assumption that comes with such a prediction. Quite ridiculous to break down the main point which is I don't see Barcelona not being favourites to the title unless Valdes doesn't get a new contract.
-
I'm just saying they're both better than what you have to put on the pitch this season at times. Really don't see this team declining to much next year from this year even without signings unless Valdes leaves. Pretty much same team with maybe Xavi an extra yard slower, but compensate that with Neymar hopefully having adapted and Messi possibly having revenge for a failed WC and I think you're team is still far better than most clubs in the world. A lot fo assumptions beign made here. There's one assumption tbh. If they can't get a new goalie they'll spend a lot of cash on Valdes to return for one sole season. Neymar will only get better, only assumption is Messi not winning the WC, which let's be honest, CAN'T happen.
-
No, agreed, but not signed. Will probably be blocked now. Doubt it, appeal the ban and they'll have time until the appeal is judged. During that time they'll still be able to buy players so if it doesn't get overturn watch this become a thing enforced only from January 2015 windows and Summer 2015 window. I'd expect at least, didn't the same happen to Chelsea?

Also gets Deulofeu and Rafinha back who probably are better than Tello and Sergi Roberto.

No way Valdes leaves now, and shouldn't he be back in September or so?

Telling the man feeding the donkey that drags his cart with the uneven wooden wheels that the engine in his Murcielago is making an odd noise. No way we finish above third next season too, NO WAY. :anguish: I bet you'll win the league both this and next year.
-
Same could be said about selling Pinto or whoever. It's good they've got some kind of depth at least. Injuries might kill them though if itsn't overturned.
-
What? You really think they won't be one of the best clubs next season? They're not having a great season and yet have become favourites for league title and a semi-finals in the CL and have reached Copa del Rey final. While Real and Ancelotti who have been praised are behind them.
-
No central defender for next season. Can see them splashing the cash on renewing Valdes contract now.

Have to agree Mole. Cesc has never been Xavis replacement and only way he plays his best football is when Song and Busquets plays behind him so he gets more space in front and usually that's against smaller teams only. It's quite evident to why he plays Neymar on the right instead of player like Alexis or Pedro that do it better on that side and it's because of his sheer unpredictability. He doesn't do well, but he's still able to make the other accumulate yellow cards with his feet. Yesterday Atletico got 3 yellow cards through fouls on him. I'm expecting Alexis to play and Cesc to be benched next week. Wouldn't surprise me to see both Neymar and Cesc on the bench on the weekend, although I'd probably bench Neymar and Iniesta/Xavi for this encounter. Atletico is they can close up shop like yesterday they'll stumble through on away goals. Hope none of the teams tonight wins by large margin so we've got four excellent CL quarters next week.

Well flares have killed in South America, although different types of flare. No point in using them, even more idiotic in a stadium that is closed so the smoke delays the game for a bit.
-
Even Diego Simeone commented on how it's much easier to defend Neymar when he plays on the right.
-
Cesc has been good, but he shouldn't be starting in games like this. Xavi and Iniesta are essential to that team and a team like Atletico that is so hard to break needs 3 unpredictable players up top that can do stuff in speed. Neymar, Messi and Alexis should be starting up top.
-
I'm not feeling it. 1-1. Messi and Costa one each. There's something extremely disturbing with Neymar on the right. Hasn't worked once this season, if you want to play Iniesta on the left then Neymar has to be moved to the bench. Pedro is much more effective there. At least I was right. Well kinda.
