    La Liga 14/15

Fair enough. Real fans man, know plenty of them. Can't believe there's actually people out there who believe CRonaldo is better than Messi.

After yesterdays Neymar very good cameo I'm looking forward to seeing Casemiro start for Real tonight. Have you seen anything form him VI? I never rated him as a player, but Brazilian newspapers are saying he's been playing well whenever given the chance by Ancelotti.

Maybe not right thread, but Deco just retired.
  4. How exactly? If you have no intention to sign any one then why waste money sending people to scout players? For a second there I thought you meant that you can scout people through video tapes. Sorry about that.

Whatever they do, they're already much better off than last season. With or without Bale.

It's a barbaric amount of money but they're paying what it's cost to buy him. Bale's the sort of player who could give Spurs a genuine shot at the title - it was in their best interests to keep him. If he were to leave, they would need massive investment to keep them in the title race. The fee they've received allows that. He's got shitloads of money to replace Bale but it's a huge test for Villas-Boas. I really wonder who they're going to sign. As if Willian's gone to Chelsea, for goodness sake. What a rancid club. What are you on about? Obviously it would cost them what it costs to get him. That works out for any player, any situation in life when you want to buy something, still doesn't mean that's his market value even in todays football. Bale is definitely not the difference between a title-challenge and not for Spurs. They look much more balanced this season and have made some very very good signings. So it's going to be Bale out and Paulinho, Soldado, Chadli, Capoue and Lamela in. As good as Bale is, that's incredible business. Are any of them anywhere near as good as Bale? Like Mole said it's impossible to say anything due to their different positions. But Soldado is one of the best strikers in the world and Paulinho is for me the best in the world in the box-to-box role at the moment. Capoue is an extremely talented DM and Lamela is a very good player. Bale is an excellent player, but I'd pick those four in my team 8 times a week over Bale.

The Ronaldo fee at the time was ridiculous, the Kaka fee at the time was ridiculous, but this is out of this world. They're paying twice what he is worth. It's unbelievable.
  8. They still haven't solved the problems at the back from last season The better teams will punish them They should seriously just go all in for Luiz. Also anyone see Cavani there? Lost the ball and then ran the whole pitch at full pace while Zlatan just stood there. I just love Cavani and the amount of distance he can cover.
  9. Neymar inches from scoring again. Decent cameo.
  10. Dani Alves is hilarious when he's done something wrong, love how he tries to play innocent but is terrible at it.
  11. Nice run from Neymar there. These spanish guys love to tackle him a bit though.
  12. Still not matchfit enough to play 30mins?
  13. VI, where is Neymar, it's boring without Messi or Neymar.
  14. I always captain a defender though when the top team play a relegation bttler or us. Always fetches me a minimum of 10p.
  15. 22p. Absolute shit that I benched Mignolet and had Zabaleta s captain. City and Southampton can go fuck themselves.

Talking defensively. Xavi, Iniesta, Dani Alves were never any defensive minded players. You basically had Busquet infront of Pique, Puyol and Abidal. My point was that when you have the ball, you don't have to defend. Barca were masters of pressing extremely effectively though, not convinced Mata and Ozil are that good at pressing if i'm honest. Absolutely, but that's why you need a decent manager. First game I saw of Özil was for Germany against Australia in the 2010 World Cup. Ran the show from the right, cutting inside and pressing high. Don't see why he can't go back to that.
  17. Had a double in the Japanese second division £5 at 5x the money. Lost the bet with a 93rd minute strike. FML
