Wrote a long ass post and then my internet died and I lost it. In any case, everyone knows that neither of the three are wingers, but in todays football you dont need wingers, with those three you'd have a fluidity like Oscar, Mata and Hazard at Chelsea and Mata and Özil both have played the right wing role. Obviously defensively that would be a problem considering their workrate, but a decent manager could still make that work and find excellent balance. Just look at Barcelona and what they achieved during the last years.

It's all relative. If Bale is worth £90m than they got themselves a bargain Chelsea. However, if Özil is worth £30-40m than they got themselves an overpriced player. I think he's an excellent addition even at that price, he's better than Schurrle, De Bruyne, Moses. He's their fourth best offensive midfielder now, and since Mourinho is looking to opt for fluidity and pace behind the lone striker I can see him fitting there better than Mata. (who obviously is a better player then Willian..before anyone starts)

Well if it was just one of those days. I think Martinez will prove to be a far better manager than most in this league. What he did with Wigan was impressive, the consensus on here was that he wasn't good enough. I think he'll prove that lot on here wrong, just like he did at Wigan. A lot of people say he can't sign players and so on, but he basically only really had one or two bad signings at Wigan which cost decent money. I think you guys will compete with Liverpool again which shows strength since they seem a much better team this year than last.

No doubt it would be good at times but none of those players are suited to playing wide roles or interested in any sort of defending so not sure it would work perfectly. Kagawa, Mata and Özil have shown they can play wide man, they're change between them, look at Chelsea. Hazard, Mata and Oscar are all better suited centrally (well Eden works wide) but Mata and Oscar exchange positions all the time and it works fine.

We definitely need another attacking midfielder if Cabaye goes. Hell we need one anyway but we can't be relying on only Marveaux all season long. I'd still have winger/striker as a priority. Our biggest problem right now is lack of movement.

I'd say he's worth £15m. We don't really need a new CM if he leaves though. Yesterday was proof enough to show that what we really need is a left-winger/striker. Anita - Siss Marv Is good enough to start for a top 10 side. Play Benny and Remy/Winger on each side of Remy/Cisse/Striker and we'll be fine. With injuries we have Bigi, Gosling, Tiote to play centrally and Ben Arfa to play in the Marv position.

He was a class above Cabaye, no doubt about it. Parker? Very good player for us, but extremely limited footballer. no, hamann.

Giovani dos Santos is like a poor mans Ben Arfa. So skilful, but has even less final product as well as he also looks quite heavy.

If we are going to spend around 20m because that's what he will cost. I'd rather get a winger and attacking midfielder personally. So they can do what? Watch Ben Arfa dribble? We might as well buy 10 defenders and park the bus, cause I haven't seen one attacking team move since Pardew took over basically.

I didn't see said goal, but what you said is true. As an example, Swansea play great passing stuff with many fairly average players, but who are made better by playing in that style. And the thing is, I'm not asking for it 100% of the time, but just occasionally would be uplifting. I mean we play terrible team-stuff. There's no cohesion at all, it's like the temam Pardew has assembled met yesterday. He's a truly awful coach (not even going to call him a manager, absolute fraud is what he is).

I think he'd benefit more from some movement in front of him. Four players capable of moving letting him make his occasional runs without having four players going at him since they don't need to care about the rest who are just spectating anyways. Each time Moussa or Ben Arfa makes a run the rest just stands there looking. We seriously need Marveaux to be fit this season and play him infront of Anita - Siss and then Remy and Benny on each side of the striker.
