Honestly the best we can without Cabaye and no signings is Anita-Sissoko-Marveaux. Its not ideal but it will do. Tiote instead of Anita is he plays as anchor man instead of the fucking box-to-box fail role might work too. Still believe there's a good player in there somewhere, it's all about going back to basics for Cheick.

Everything that's come in from player sales has been spent on new players while the club has been in the Premier League under Ashley. Not always in a timely manor like, and we should certainly be spending more but the fact is we do reinvest money from player sales, not just some of it but all of it. It took 30 months for all the Carroll money to spent. There's no excuses for not spending it within 8 months. I'd rather we took our time and spend wisely than waste it all on s****. That seems to be lost on the impatient crowd. I'd rather we didn't get relegated thanks. Cabaye isn't a player who make any kind of difference in a relegation fight, in fact he might, he might cause us more problems with his petulance and dirtiness. Wigan were humped mercilessly at Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea and even received reasonably forceful sex at SJP. Results like this happen in football when teams are up against those vastly superior financially (Ermagerd, sovereign states lol). Agree with Happy Face, the next few games are the real test. Anything less than 10 points from the next 6 league games is unacceptable. No thanks. If we sell Cabaye, it needs to be for enough money so that we get Thauvin, Gomis and a new CM in IMO. The football guru has spoken. If you'd known how the sport works you'd probably noticed that the creative outlet would be Marv, who not only has played his best games for us centrally as the creative outlet and has made us tick there, but also had the most assist for the club last season. We'd need to obviously change the dynamics of our game, but with the lineup I'd suggested I'd see Sissoko playing like last night and the new DM anchoring the midfield. I really rate Marveaux, but obviously his fitness is the big worry here. But I'd rather go for a new DM than look for a new creative midfielder which we'll never find. As for getting Thauvin, we should be getting him in regardless of whether Cabs goes or not.

It was. Basically a continuation of the lack of effort he displayed all night. Yes, we're getting beat. Yes, you're isolated and without service. But, f*** me, at least try to compete. Very disappointing performance from him. I think it was the first time in a long long time or ever for us that he showed a lack of care and effort. Was very disappointed, because he always runs his socks off but last night he just didn't care after their 2nd goal. Unfortunately it's in games like this that you need a real loud leader, and I don't see where we have one in the team. Yanga could probably be the same guy as Colo, but we need a loud vocal leader on the pitch, which we don't have.
