  1. Fabinho has a case of the Casemiritis. Can't seem to get booked.
  2. Is this official though? Is there any site with statistics over who covers most ground and what team? Remember seeing something a few months back where none of the Liverpool players were on it.
  3. No brainer. Should be going all in for both in terms of salary and contract length. Both would improve us so much I'd imagine us becoming a top 7 side next season already. And for £60m we could afford another 1 or 2 quality players as well.
  4. I agree with what you are saying, but Rodrygo always looks more dangerous when on the left, hence why he has been quite successful in the CL when he actually gets to play there. If you look at Vini he has 18 goals and 19 assists, Rodrygo has 8 goals and 9 assists but Vini has played twice the amount of minutes and only in his preferred position. So there is an argument to be had and it's not as black and white as you're making it look. Either way, I'm happy Ancelotti has put that much faith into both as both are starting to develop nicely. Although, obviously, if Mbappé signs for Real it might hinder both development.
  5. Rodrygo is good at absolutely everything you want from a footballer. He's just not excellent at anything. I do think he's a more consistent player than Vini and I do wonder how he would do with a run on the left wing which is his preferred position. There's a reason as to why Klopp was rumoured to be interested in buying him a few months back, now they ended up with Diaz who is a better player at the moment.
  6. He actually did get two big calls wrong, both against Real as well which makes it baffling to me that Casemiro not getting booked (many suggesting he should be off, but Casemiro would never make a tackle like he did if he was booked, very rarely gets sent off) and Sterling getting booked can be seen as the ref was pro-Real. Laporte should've been off for the slap on Modric and Real should've had another penalty when Cancelo handled the ball. There was also a barge from Kyle Walker into Vini's back which have been given many times before despite I personally not thinking much of the challenge.
  7. I mean, with all due respect, if the ref was bad than VAR was worse. Because if I remember correctly Laporte slapped Modric didn't he as well? Potentially a red card early in the game for City as well as a missed penalty. Basically the two biggest decisions that he shies away from were in favour of City. The Sterling booking at no effect on the game whatsoever. I'm not saying the ref was great or defending him, I just don't think he favoured Real at all. As for the extra time I do agree, seems to be a problem with referees that they don't take stoppages in extra time into effect. Think it was Italy v Belgium at the Euros where the same happened.
  8. His biggest error of the night was the handball by Cancelo that probably should've rendered in a penalty for Real Madrid. I thought he did well until ET. There he made a few errors, but none that had a big effect on the game.
  9. I completely agree with you. I've almost watched every single Real game this season because of the Brazilians, and they've been underwhelming but still seem to win. If they win the CL this season it's going to be the weirdest team to win it ever. I mean, they're an experienced side, but apart from Benzema, Vini and Courtois none of their players have been consistently decent this season. Even Modric has been quite up and down, and that defense has been a fucking roller coaster. Alaba and Militao are one day looking like a fantastic pairing, to then looking like u10s playing the next. The red thread throughout their wins here have been the fact that their substitutions has actually made an impact in games.
  10. Ruben Dias did really poorly for the first goals. Shouldn't let Rodrygo squeeze in there.
  11. Ancelotti's tactic this year has been to win games when making subs in the 60-70th minute.
  12. I like *this Real side.
  13. I like Real, but those shirts are pure jinx. Going to get trashed by Liverpool now.
  14. Rodrygo What a month for him.
  15. Now I have to disagree. He clearly dives there. He fall before contact and tries to entangle his legs like.
  16. Completely agree, hence why I feel really bad for him. I guess he maybe made the changes a bit too early tonight, but their legs were kind of forcing him to make the subs.
  17. What a fucking cameo by Camavinga and Rodrygo tonight. Camavinga especially has been excellent.
  18. I might be one of the few. But I love Pep and I really feel bad for him Mahrez and Foden should've finished the game off in the home tie.
  19. 110% sure of it as well.
  20. Carvajal has been decent tonight as well.
  21. Think he's been ok tbh. Not great, not shite. Sure he should've booked Casemiro and Sterling shouldn't have been booked. But he's made the right decisions on the big ones such as the penalty and the Walker push on Vini's back. Been quite consistent until this 2nd half of ET.
  22. What's he done wrong there?
  23. I kind of agree, but one is the most classic and biggest club in footballing history. The other one is well City.
  24. Keep forgetting about Ceballos. He's actually quite decent given that he's 6th choice in that midfield.
