  1. That's not fair to Ronaldo, that is a true statement, but his statement is absolutely ridiculous. He's comparing a guy who's had very good spells to a guy who was the worlds absolute best for two years. Actually he isn't even comparing, he's suggesting Bale is better.
  2. We need him back. Desperately need him back. I want to see Gouff - Siss - Benny given a chance behind Cisse.

Except our first half yesterday was the best showing we've had since like february or something... We are not down. Fuck there's no way we are going down. A point against QPR and then a hard fought point against Arsenal will secure us.
  4. Kaka carried Milan to a Champions League title on his back and was undoubtedly the best player in the world for a spell. Ronaldo is having a dry spell with good posts of late. They'll come back if we secure PL status next year. Aye. I voted him as most improved poster and now he's descended into madness again. I don't know what happened. I remember when I was agreeing with everything he said, must be Mike who has taken over his account.
  5. As much as I love Ben Arfa if he has another season like his last 2 then he is fairly easily replaced, not with the same quality but someone half as good playing twice as much will be a lot more use to us. Last 2? Last season he probably won more games for us than we could imagine. We went six straight games winning when he was back in the side. I'd be happy to have him even if it means only 15games a season. Benny, Cabs, Krul and Colo are non-replaceable at the moment.

  7. Because they wouldn't use him as a battering ram, they would be paying 25m for someone to use him in a role which won't even give 10m performances. Which is why i think he should stay. Imagine him and Carroll upfront. Pardew, Fat Sam and Pulis would absolutely love that.
  8. Wormy and Neil you owe us all to bet big money on a Wigan win on tuesday. I'll be putting a fair bit in the hope of jinxing it. And then a fair bit against us on sunday. We need all the possible means to help us survive ffs.

Looking at the schedule there are so many interesting games. Theoratically even Fulham, Stoke and Soton could go down.
  10. IF Coutinho doesn't get called up to the national team for the Confederations Cup i'll be disappointed. He's a genius.
  11. ? Why would he leave the PL for the Championship
  12. Fellaini is a good player, but he'd be nowhere near good enough for a top 2-3 side in my opinion at least.

Did Forrest Gump really say that? Wow

Not sure if serious I'll let you have a guess
  15. This page People thinking Cabaye doesn't give a shit. The man runs the most for this club and his sloppy passing of late has been due to the absolute lack of movement. I'm not going to sit here pretend I defend players till the end and will make excuse for them, because tha'ts not me. I'll agree he has been poor the last month or so, but when he came back from injury he helped us and was a main reason we were still in games. It's supporters like you guys on this page that makes many of us other lose faith in humanity ffs Seriously, get a grip, it's not hard to see that a lack of shape and movement will cause loads of troubles to a team.

I think we will have more trouble this time around than last time around because it is a World Cup year.

You seriously believe Sissoko, Marv, Mbiwa or Cisse would be here? They're all gone along with Anita as well. I think JH starting eleven there is the absolute best we could expect from a team if we are relegated, and that is nowhere near good enough for promotion. Elliot Tav Taylor Willi Haidara Jonas Bigi Anita Ferg/Obertan Campbell Gouff Is the absolute best we could expect. Even then I'm 75% sure Anita and Gouff would try to move on.
  18. You're seriously becoming a ridiculous poster, what happened man? Everytime you post I feel like answering back, something I've basically never felt like before the last couple of months. I just hope this was all a joke and I bit on the wrong post
  19. Dont forget this worst of the lot due to disgusting substitutions, Reading!! Thank you for reminding me...
  20. Not got much of a choice if he doesn't want to be here. I'd rather have a player who imposes himself and gets goals anyway. Cabaye does have six this season tbf. I'm not saying he doesn't want to leave, just pointing out that actively wanting to sell him is lunacy. Its not tbh, he doesn't have what it takes to play in the EPL at the very top and his comments about getting depressed can be evidence of that. what the f*** are you talking about, Neesy? He made some comments of having felt depressed after the World Cup for not having a single day of rest between last season and this season, and people take it as he is ready to throw in the towel. FFS, the guy is a great footballer, how many footballer can perform from July 2011 to May 2013 without having any rest. That almost two whole years. I think it's disrespectful to say that one of our best players can't cut in the league because he's had maybe 8-9 bad games in his whole career here and the majority of those coming now when the whole squad is under pressure. TBF to Cabaye, he was a bit better yesterday that he has been although he did misplace those easy passes he always makes. I think it's a matter of armband in the end and feeling the need to be a leader on the pitch which he isn't. But he's class at one of the top midfielders in this league. He had loads of rest he came back like 4 weeks after France got knocked out of the euros, again people are happy to peddle out excuses for him. Wasn't he carrying a knock? I think he himself said he had 0 zero rest, and four weeks is nothing compared to the 7 weeks or so most get.

Did the predictor thingy and if Wigan beats Swansea I have them finishing on 39 together with us, Norwich and Sunderland. Wigan goes clear on -24, we and Norwich finishes on -25 but we go ahead of them on goals scored or w/e comes after goal difference. Fucking hell. 39p will absolutely kill us. We need to win against QPR, seriously have too. But I got Wigan going down if they don't beat Swansea.
