HTT I can definitely understand where you’re coming from. I mean you guys share the trait of writing looong posts Joking aside. Glad @JNK has joined as the second Brazilian. The more the merrier.

Turned that game on. Saw Colback is playing. Turned it off.

Bem-vindo JNK! Glad we agree on Gabigol and Antony. Don't necessarily agree on Bruno being underrated per se. He's done well for Lyon and a lot expect him to be that 4th central midfielder for the WC with Casemiro, Fabinho and Fred if he keeps performing. But he wasn't exactly stand out at the Olympics or the French league. However, with the shower of shit at this club in midfield, it's his time to shine and I hope come November he's in midfield along Casemiro/Fabinho in the starting XI, because that will have meant he's had a great start to his career at Newcastle. Will be interesting to see Howe's plan with him, as I don't see him as the most deep lying midfielder in this team right now and he doesn't have the motor to cover ground for both him and Shelvey either. As for @Kanji's question regarding Matheus Cunha. I was just thinking he would be very attainable and a realistic player if we're going down the Brazilian route prior to seeing that post. Gets very few minutes for Atletico Madrid and is definitely deserving of more. He's by no means a classic goalscorer, but I feel like he makes the little stuff that a team like ours would need. He's constantly creating spaces for teammates and he's quite decent in the air. Was just watching Barcelona v Atletico and he came on and Atletico instantly became a better side. Could definitely do with a player like him for this team. Only question mark regarding Cunha is whether he really is a striker or not. If Watford goes down a player like Joao Pedro could also be a realistic option, looks like a younger Richarlison right now.

Stifler is definitely a psychopath.

This summer is a bit special with the WC being in November. Many might not be willing to make a risky move unless they’ve cemented their place in the squad or are 110% sure to start for their new club. Which is also why I give us being a realistic (although unlikely) option for players like Raph and Antony. While Raphinha is definitely more of a protagonist for the national team right now with Neymar out of form, Antony is someone I have very high expectations for and expect to be the next big thing out of Brazil with Vini Jr.
-
He is. Crazy as it sounds, I prefer him to Vini at the moment. That being said, been linked with Bayern a few times. But either him or Raphinha would have to be dream signings and depending on if we stay up or how much we want to invest they could potentially be realistic as well.

Might actually be the best Brazilian footballer at the moment. Always looks a level above everyone whenever I see him play.
-
This might be the beginning of the end for me as the resident Brazilian in here. Bem vindo!

Bruno not starting tonight as it will be Fabinho Paqueta and Coutinho unlike what was reported yesterday. I’m not his biggest fan my any means. But he has four assist and one goal in his last seven for Man U, while being Motm for the national side in the past two games. It’s looking more of a case of having been misused than anything right now. I mean there has to be some reason three managers keep starting him over and over again. Bruno isn’t good enough to drag himself into the squad (when injury free) at the moment. Hopefully he can blossom with us, but he still has a bit to go before he nails down a spot for the WC. As for Big Jo, well that’s most probably never going to happen.
-
Cuba is good, but not sure what he’s been on in the past 24 hours. Might be that thin air.
-
Cuba ma man. Yesterday you were saying Jude Bellingham wouldn’t be a great surprise signing. That’s the wildest take on here.
-
Expected to start for Brazil tomorrow night against Paraguay next to Fred and Coutinho in central midfield.
-
If we stay up and sign one or two marquee players and PSG doesn’t go for him I could easily see Paqueta being willing to join. However, Paqueta is 90% sure going to the World Cup so might play it safe by not changing league or club until next January. Bruno on the other hand hasn’t been a regular for the national side and with Casemiro, Fabinho and Fred surely going he has a lot to play for if he wants that last spot at central midfield and lets be real. If he plays well for us, that spot is his as he’s competing with 32 year old from the Brazilian league, Gerson who keeps getting into fights in Marseille and Douglas Luiz who is very similar to Casemiro and Fabinho in the sense that he’s not a deep lying playmaker.

This club is slowly reeling me back in. One or two more Brazilians and I might go full batshit crazy every week as pre-Ashley era.

You still don’t get it do you? I’ll give you another few minutes to think it through. Try to understand why there are so many women and men living in violent and toxic relationships. I’ll give you two words to help out: Fear Manipulation
-
Quite shocking how some people want to put the blame on a victim of a violent relationship with domestic abuse.
-
well we better be spending that money with our new owners
-
This being said he could easily be the defensive midfielder in a ball dominant side. But we are not that yet.
-
Still hope we’ve got a defensive midfielder lined up to play next to him. I’m sure Shelvey and him won’t work. Bruno has done well when he has another defensive midfielder that can do most of the dirty work. If we arw replacing Cabaye now, we need to replace Tiote as well.
-
He’ll fly out the same night as the match so will be getting into Europe early wednesday. Or at least that is what all the players playing in Europe usually do. So you’d have to expect for him to be in Newcastle on wednesday.

the video should be in the op. Not discos spelling though. Doesn’t sit right.

The few times I’ve seen him he’s been either great or an absolute lazy bastard. He’s a great finisher and inside the box he’s very good, but outside of it he’s mostly anonymous and doesn’t do much. I might be biased, cause I’m not his biggest fan as he’s a lazy bastard everywhere and possesses nowhere near the talent of a player who should be allowed to do that. He’s no Romario like.
