Cheated at £30k a week. FFS, doctors here in Sweden dont even earn £10k a month and they're saving the life of people. Fuck £30k to buy alcohol, whores, cars, clothes. Fuck else is he doing, that's enough to live on, he's 20 years old. Lets say he 20 and has that salary for 14 years. Thats 52 x 30 = 1, 560 , 000. 1, 560 , 000 x 14 = 21, 840 , 000. excl. sponsorships, goal bonuses, image rights. Ffs, thats more than probably most on here would earn together in a life time. He was playing for his hometown club, like billytray said yesterday, loyalty in football is a myth, its alla bout money now.

Shows how much class we Newcastle fans have compared to them(and fuck the media which only shows the odd idiot on tv), we'll throw the odd profanity, we'll say stuff, but we'll never burn the players shirt, at least not the healthy ones. Also Carroll had less reasons to move than Torres. Torres has a genuine concern of playing Champions League football every season and moved to a better, bigger club . Carroll moved from a team which is potentially in a stronger position than his new club.
-
But have you edited football manager?
-
I think Carroll has doe the right thing IF he did ask for a newer inproved contract. He'll be thinking £35m footballers are paid more than £30k pw so why should he be different. Common sense should have seen the Club deny both the bid and the request with a promise to renogotiate in the summer. But, you're correct he's gone now so - onwards and upwards. I agree with you that maybe if you look at todays football salaries he deserves better than £30k a week, but tell me why did he sign a new one in October then? Feels quite pointless doesn't it? If he had turned it down and asked for money then fine, but he was happy with it. He only has himself to blame. Now he has collected a good signing-on-fee for the new contract signing, and now for the transfer to liverpool as well as trippling his wage. Money is all for him to be honest.
-
Fuck after all the club has done for this kid, he goes behind our backs and asks for a new fucking contract. 3 Months ago he got a new contract, if he wasn't happy then why did he sign it? When he was in court, the club captain took him home and helped him out. How does he repay everyone? By fucking us over, he's a fucking judas and that's it. Enough, everyone knows Ashleys a twat, but Carroll has now joined that club. They're equally stupid, but on this one I'm on Ashleys hand. We got £36 million for a player barely worth half of it (talentwise) I know that if you look on how important he is we shouldn't have sold, but now its done and we mugged Liverpool anyways. At least it wasn't for like £15 million, it was £35 million. FFS he's not the 8th best player of all time, he wasn't even the 8th best player in this league. it's over move forward, blame Ashley, Derek, Andy, whoever, it wont change the fact that he's gone.
-
I'm not defending Ashley. I just find it more likely that Carroll wanted to leave. That rather than Ashley would go out of his way to cover his arse and somehow 'force' Carroll to sign a transfer request,, when he hasn't given a s*** what we think in the past. I agree with you.
-
4-3-3 or 4-5-1 meaning one centre forward. Harper Simpson Saylor Colo Enrique Barton Nolan Tiote Jonas Ben Arfa Ameobi or same defence then Tiote Barton Nolan Ben Arfa Ireland Ameobi
-
why ? no way if i thought the move would go through anyway would i put in a request. He didn't. if he didn't put in a request then the place will burn down. Aye but he didn't, so it won't. life will go on. what do you know, everyone else is under the impression he did. No they aren't lol. Can you read? Well I think he did put in a transfer request. He's a vile human being.

Take away Carrolls goals & assists this season we'd be on 21 points, joint bottom. Take away purely his goals we'd be on 24 pts, 2 points off the relegation zone. What a ridiculous post. We'd have someone else playing instead, who could have scored more. Every game would be shaped differently. Seriously, f***ing stupid. I think he was only answering maze question. I doubt he really think we'd be there without Carroll.

Again, even if those messages are true. It's hard for Ashley to come out saying it was a transfer request as if proven untrue he will be fed to the lions. However, Carroll could have stayed, he had a contract! If they didn't want him then they would be violating a contract. I feel this is all to simple for my taste, a bit to easy for Andy to come out with after he's signed, after he's seen the reactions from the fans. It's all to manipulative from either side. And in the end, Ashley can leave, but I wouldn't have Carroll back.
-
Another numpty who is under the impression that Ashley will spend the Carroll money on new players. Have you been in a coma for the last 3 years? In the end who knows, I fucking hate Ashley with all my heart. But it seems like no one has any hope left, that everything disappeared with a player. This is Newcastle United Football Club, ever since Sir Bobby left it has been nothing but turmoil and embarrassment but we all still LOVE this club don't we. And Mike Ashley will be here for now not much we can do about it as he doesn't care. Try to look at the bright side of life.

Really? It just looks like someone using caps lock. Feels like yelling     It does, especially in the morning just woke up and my eyes bleed from big letters.
-
Stop posting in caps lock please, grow up. And yes it is a ridiculous fee. Blackpools were willing to let Charlie Adams go for £15 million I heard. He's more vital to that team than Carroll was to us. £36 million is ridiculous fee for a player who has proven himself in the top tier for only 6 months. I'm still gutted like but for that money you could buy two good strikers who will make us a better and probably one or two young players who can develop. Finding two good strikers who'll do the business in the prem for a club in our position is a lot easier in theory than in reality. Us having potentially more money than usual doesnt mean players will suddenly be desperate to come here. Sure, and I'm not saying that, but we did get Ben Arfa, Enrique, Barton, Tiote for half of what we sold Carroll so there is a lot of bargaining to do out in the football market. We need to look outside of the GB islands. There are many young players to be had, and while they might not want to come here it's up to us to finish strong this season and try to convince them.

If growing up is ignoring Ashley's history, then I'd rather stay young thanks. No, growing up is not posting in caps lock to get everyones attention. Feels like your yelling ffs. And no one is ignoring his history, but there are two scenarios: 1. Ashleys PR-trick and Carroll was forced, but he also left leaving both considered twats. 2. Media has been right about it all and Carroll is a twat. In the end Carroll is a twat anyways for leaving the club. Ashley doesn't decide where he goes, he can only say yes or no and then its up to the player to decide.
-
I'll answer you why. Because Carroll didn't have bids of £30, £36million coming in for him. Wake the fuck up, it might be PR trick everything and wouldn't surprise me. But equally it wouldn't surprise me if Carroll is a lying twat. He could have refused and told the fans that the club wanted to sell him. He could have revered this whole PR-trick if he was bright enough and if this was true. Trust me he's fucking happy in scouserland. Bagging his first millions on a signing on fee and trippling his wage.

£12 million for N'Zogbias talent is nothing compared to £35 million for Carrolls talent. However, yes his attitude is shit, and I'm glad he's not here. Him and Ireland might really have fucked the squad over.

Sorry, whether he was forced to leave or not, he was the one that put the fucking pen to the paper. Carroll has lied to all of us, he has lied to those who questioned that he really battered his ex, and all those rumour in the media. We were the ones betrayed here, not him. Maybe Ashley played a part in accepting the bid. But any Chairman would for a player who in 12 months has gone from being worth arond £4million to £35million. It's a ridiculous fee, I mean we got a much more talented (not saying more important player than Carroll) in Ben Arfa, for 7 times cheaper. We can only look forward, we have proven that although it takes time we can produce local talents. What we need to do from now on though, is teach our players about ethics. I feel heartbroken to see Carroll and Dalglish smiling, but that's how life is. I sincerely think that with that kind of money we will become much better in the long-term. For £35 million you could probably buy 5-6 of the World biggest talents and try to build a team for the future. While they're here, you make sure you put both them and their agents into a fucking classroom to learn ethics. There are so many players who are worth less than Carroll but are more talented. And while it might be a big risk on them adapting, or even wanting to come here. Who says Carroll would perform in two years? There are so many aspects that hurts in this deal but only time will tell whether we were wrong or right for him to go. I believe in the latter, as I believe in this club even though it's been a joke. All we can do now is to keep on fighting for Europe and finish above Liverpool.
-
Shola Ameobi is a true hero. Will never forget that match against Bayer Leverkusen. What a guy, was way more talented than Carroll
-
Looks like Dalglish let Carroll beat up his wife. twat
-
I can say this, he's more exciting than what Carroll was early on. However, I doubt he'll become as good.
-
What if this is the blessing in disguise. Imagine him becoming the new number 9, the new hero, not a local lad, but he arrived here early. Imagine the Str8888888 like a Banana, loved by everyone bar 'Ronaldo', becoming the honest and loyal footballer. Sorry guys, I'm off to bed, this is depressing.
