The same with the overhead kick, even if it in the end, ended up as a good cross it was pointless.

He's actually been decent of late. Growing more and more.

That was a really stupid post tbh. Take way the honours from a footballer and you have nothing. It would be pointless to play for no honour. Shearer was a top class forward and striker or whatever you call it. But you ask a thousand people who'd they rather build a team around and it would be Ronaldo. He was an immense player with huge potential. And strikers are rated on the amount of goals and their threat. Ronaldo was the better goalscorer the better player and therefore the better striker. It the end Ronaldo won more, scored more and above all at his prime he was unstoppable. A true legend has stopped playing, but we have other players forming into true greats in Messi and dare I say Cristiano Ronaldo. Definitely got to say CR7. The kid has torn s*** up (averaged more than 1 in 2 in the last 5 seasons) in the two widely recognised best leagues going. An unbelievable player, the amount of games he has won single handedly almost too. Still doesnt win big games on his own But yes I agree with you.

Yeah; I despise him, fucking disgusting player but he is the 2nd most dominant player in the world at the moment.
-
Hahah fucking yes! Don't want Fulham getting points.
-
Hahah fucking hell!

Stupid, stupid from David Luiz but tht is not a penalty, he fell over so easily.
-
I was wondering wtf he was doing, lucky him it turned out to be good. He's been quite ok today tbh. Thought he would to much worse and Ramires is growing as a player. Torres however was not on his best again.

Socrates was a great player but there has been many Brazilians who were better in their prime. One of my favorite Brazilian player is Falcao. What a true great for Roma he was.

Kenny D is good enough to be in the top tier. Oh ffs! Kenny Dalglish top tier but Romario in the then section. Funny that Banks is in the top tier but not the Black Panther. If Figo is in the then section then Rivaldo should also be there.

Pele was more than a goal scorer though. Also the Brazilian league was way stronger, since they got to keep the majority of their biggest talents. Oh I can't understand the fuss about Pele. Don't even listen to him. He probably has no idea the Brazilian and Argentinian league were two of the strongest league at that time and that Pele won the World Cup three times.

No one deserved it. Fucking shit match honestly.

Agree with most of your choices but for me Ronaldo is definitely up there in the top tier. He scored goals most people couldn't even dream of. I disagree with Ronaldo being in the top tier, on that sense he was a 2nd tier legend. What I feel is absurd is the fact that Di Stefano and Garrincha are not in the top tier. For me who has only seen video footage from the grand. Di Stefano, Garrincha, Pele, Maradona, Zico, Cruyff were in the level above everyone Then comes Ronaldo, Zidane, Platini, Beckenbauer, Romario. Never seen footages of Puskas but Hungary wasn't a bad team back then.

Shearer is no doubt the best striker to have graced the English game in the 90's. But I still feel it's odd to compare him to Ronaldo, a three time world player of the year winner. A player who played 2 world cup finals, who is the greatest scorer of all time in World Cups. Don't get me wrong, Shearer is one of my favorite strikers of all time due to his loyalty and goalscoring abilities. But Ronaldo was just a level above him and the rest.

For me this was my hero as a kid. You guys had Shearer, Beardsley, Keegan and so on. But this was the player I most admired. Having met him back in '97 I was amazed by the fact that he was such a gentleman and stood there talking. My fondest memory will forever be the fact that I met him, but its also emotional to know that I sat there in the stadium when he broke the goalscoring record, that i sat there when he put us through to the Finals in the World Cup 2002 by scoring that goal against Turkey. It's a sad day, but it's a day that had to come. The criticism he has been getting has been unfair, people have forgotten the fact that he has done so much. But he is a human being he made mistakes but admitted he was at fault. I can't see many players who have been admired after leaving two clubs and playing for their archrivals later in their careers. I'll just end by agreeing to what he said, 'foi lindo'. Meaning his career was beautiful, you just can't argue with that. Zidane and Ronaldo are probably the two greats I have ever watched, you can talk about Messi and about CRonaldo. But these guys have a lot left to match what the other two did. Messi is at this stage maybe as good as Ronaldo was in his age. However, and I hope for the sake of football that Messi never has to live through what Ronaldo did with injuries.

1 point is another point in our battle for survival. However, fuck how harsh the referees are against Barton every single game, fucking ridiculous like. Enrique and Tiote were immense once again. We better keep them after the summer too.
-
How are we 0-0. Enrique and Tiote have been immense! Best has been shit like always.
-
WTF WAS THAT?!?!?! Class is what it was!
-
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!
-
Quality ball control from Nani there. None of our players have that quality in that first touch bar maybe Barton.

I'd loan Forster out for another season to Celtic or whoever. Harper will do one more season and Krul has been good for us when playing. Either I'd sen Krul or Forster on loan. But I can see Harper staying as number 1 for another season.

Teams like Blackburn, Fulham, Stoke are shit team to play cause they're defensive minded and will score the odd goal on a mistake. Hate to play them since they're worse footballing sides but hard to break down. Love playing Villa, Everton even Tottenham. Because at least theres two teams going at it.

If we lived in a half fantasy half realistic world I would go for Hulk and I dont know why but i just feel that Agbonlahor would thrive with a big man like Hulk to play off him. He's fast and although he's been pretty shit this season I still feel he can develop into a really good footballer given the correct circumstances. Hulk - Agbonlahor in my opinion would probably be the best striking partner ever since Shearer - Owen for match or two. However, Gameiro would be better than Agbonlahor but that's just too much fantasy world.
