How hot is it in Qatar during December? was thinking the temperature might make the football a bit shit like in South Africa but i have no idea what their weather is like in December. The football in South Africa had nothing to do with the temperature. SA is fairly south anyway and the tournament was during the coldest season. Russia and Brazil were significantly warmer. I still believe the Qatar World Cup will be a fantastic event. Supporters for every team in a very small area (easy for travel) in a country that will spare no expense (financial or other) to make the tournament great and expand their profile. The enjoyment will of course be tainted with the stench of corruption and the blood of slaves, but I have learned to accept this with FIFA and life in general. In 3.5 years when this starts, everyone will be watching and enjoying, just as they were for this disgraceful tournament in Russia everyone was telling me about only two months ago. Couldn't agree more. If they aren't prepared to host it when it should be hosted, then it should go to someone else. Why rule out every single country with this climate? Not every country has hospitable conditions during the same time as Europe or has leagues with the same schedule. Changing the date is just common sense. True although one route in to the country via one airport is going to be a logistical nightmare regardless of how big said airport is. Hotels will likely be insane too. Best tournaments, for me, are ones where all countries have as large a following as possible. At least 2026 will cater for this. My biggest fear as well. Russia was a nightmare for hotels, going to be extremely interesting to see how Qatar manages it along with the logistics of airport as you mentioned.

There’s been nee standout good LBs like. I was going to Vrsaljko there but I’m stickler for the deets on shit like this. I just picked Hernandez as he got to be the final but he’s probs been France’s worst starter. Went for Meunier for exactly the same reason, I thought he was excellent for Belgium and I honestly couldn't pick a left back. Couldn't believe how poor Marcelo was. He played like he had the runs or something. Marcelo was fine man. He wasn't at his best, but he definitely wasn't poor either. Was an average World Cup from him. Lots of people have chosen him in their team of the tournament which I believe to be based on his quality rather than what he showed at the World Cup, but think calling him poor is very harsh. Meunier is a good shout however, very impressed by him this World Cup. Been very good for PSG but hasn't always been easy as he competes with Dani Alves for that spot. -

Same time Cavani was rather average for most parts as well. Only against Portugal that he had a really good game. -

Fair enough. For me it’s Kane. -

And even if he meant Miranda, that's fucking hard on Lukaku as Miranda had a very good World Cup and is a very good defender. -

If Casemiro hadn't been suspended we'd probably make the final. My team of the tournament would probably be Subasic Trippier - Silva - Godin - Hernandez Modric - Kante MBappé Griezemann Hazard Kane Honourable mention to all the finalists + Golovin, Casemiro, Courtois, Pickford, Cavani, Mina, Cheryshev and Lozano. Lukaku was great for 45minutes, otherwise I thought he was pretty much what we're used too. Who's Dante? -
His hair aside, been the best ref at the World Cup.
-
Sure it's not the picture of him in sweats? It's alright if that's the reason.
-
What? My experience is the opposite. So much people were supporting England due to it, just because it would be extremely funny if they did end up winning it.
-
Either way it should have been disallowed. Far too casual of a finish for me. Twats like you are thinking that you're embarrassing me with this 'casual' shit. (and it truly is a shit joke perpetuated by sados .) But you're not embarrassing me in the least . I actually take pleasure from it because it reminds me that weak shits like you wouldn't actually dare to do that to someone's face constantly. Yeah, Perez's touch was casual, it was bit lucky that it went in. (But you stick to your comfort and conformity zone and I'll post what I like)

You're probably not going to get much sympathy here I should.

Welcome to the way I feel. I've come to the conclusion it would be better to be a small country and just enjoy being in it rather than having four years of hope ripped away in a matter of approximately 90minutes.
-
Brazil would've beaten both these sides with ease. Fucking Fernandinho scoring an own goal destroyed it all.

I really think that Modric is the best player in the world. Top 3 easily.. If they win the World Cup and he doesn't get the Ballon d'Or, there's seriously something wrong with football. Felt he was Real Madrids best player in the CL for large parts.
-
Come on man. They were a better side after 45minutes and that's why they won the game. They could easily have had a penalty as well when Maguire/Stones held Lovren before halftime. Referee was fine during the match.
-
He was and Croatia as a team started working as soon as he woke up in the second half. Nonetheless, Perisic was MOTM imo.
-
Don't think they'll lose heavily, but it's for sure one of the weakest side to reach a World Cup final. Only other side I can think of in the last 30 years or so is Germany in 2002. who relied heavily on Ballack and Kahn and had a easy route to the final.
-
Talk about trying to find something to blame it all on. It's a World Cup semi, Kane is a huge reason to why you got there and he's definitely not to blame for not reaching the finals. At the end of the day Croatia has a better team, which in the important moments played better football. That's not on Kane and Shearer most definitely wouldn't have changed that.

They aren’t real man. Absolute machines. Modric wasn't even tired when he walked off. Was the same against Russia too, he’s fucking ridiculous Modric was fucking dead walking off guys He couldn't even take a corner at one point, when Mandzukic was lying down he was leaning against those commercial boards. At times he was on the ground trying to catch his breath. He was fucking dead.

Your team is really young. If you can keep these players together and they don't get fucked over by their clubs, I'd think you'd be pre-tournament favourites for the next EC and WC. Not to mention the group of youngsters coming through. Time will tell though, no guarantee this group of lads will remain intact and not have their careers nosedive due to their clubs being shithouses when it comes to caring for players actually getting to play - and these players being paid too much to care if they get benched for some Johnny Foreign. No way. This was the chance. This generation is nowhere near as good as previous ones and had the best possible route to get themselves to a World Cup final. With that said, this World Cup has shown anything can happen in a one-month tournament.

7ry1ng to be 7upport1ve and all. I welcome your support Flip. Thank you for your service. Agreed. It was out of order by 2oey1. Harsh to have a ghiggia at his expense.

Should’ve scored a second while Modric was asleep. He’s awake now and Croatia improved straight away.
