James on the bench? Carrying a knock?
-
that's a great point I hadnt even thought of. Can't (doesn't) go both ways It's really not. If a striker goes to head a ball and gets push it's a penalty.

No wonder the pressure is always ridiculous with the England squad. You guys beat a decent side in Tunisia (not a poor side at all) and in the opener as well where the ref obviously didn't help missing a clear penalty. 3 points basically guarantees you into the knock-out stages and an important game against Belgium. Score an early goal against Panama (who are a really poor side) and you might actually go into the final groupstage match with the possibility of a draw being enough to win that group.

There's not one thing on social media that I love more than the ''It's coming home'' thing. It's hilarious.

Trippier was excellent. Lingard needs to put the ball in the back of the net though. Had a few decent chances.

 Hurting my feelings now, nees.

Exactly. You're pathetic man. Look at this: How is that going to be achieved, if federations don't try and get that clarified by FIFA? Exactly.

It's an official complaint wanting explanation of the use of VAR and how it works. It's not just for a foul, if that's what you think. I think a lot of federations are not liking the fact that the use of VAR hasn't been explained properly. I know the Argentinians have complained as well. If England had drawn or lost yesterday I'm sure it would've been a different story as well. Due to corruption problems in the Brazilian federations, they're trying to keep it as transparent as possible hence why anything they do is surging to the media. Pretty sure most federations contact FIFA without it all being made public.

Wonder if you'd still be complaining about the VAR having gone home yesterday had you guys not ended up winning the game. VAR has been extremely inconsistent. Feels like the ref uses it when they feel like using it.
-
Yes, completely agree. Brazilian federation asked FIFA for a transcript of the communication between the VAR referee and referee. This whole thing is failing right now. Argentina had a clear penalty denied and not looked upon, Brazil had a goal against that should've been disallowed (possibly even a penalty, but that one was more a 50/50 than a stonewall) and Kane should've had a penalty in the first half yesterday. I can see why the referee missed the slight ball touch in the France penalty as seen so many people have missed it, or maybe they deemed not enough of a touch (not sure what the laws of the game says)

Kane in that second penalty appeal

It's excellent. He got some power behind it as well.

Been by far the better side. Also had a massive decision against in the first half. Clearly the deserved winners here. Been pure w*** in the second half, Southgate with rubbish subs. Tunisia deserved nowt really cause they were c***s and bloody useless, but you shouldn't be allowed to put in a second half performance like that and get three points. Second half was poor, but it's the first game in the World Cup and plenty of great chances were missed in the first half. It takes a toll on the players. It's not like Tunisia came close except the penalty (which was soft as well imo). Thought England looked impressive in the first half, and the second half more as expected. This Tunisia side isn't all that bad, they've drawn to Portugal and lost 1-0 lately to Spain in a friendly. They work their socks off and do their outmost to frustrate the opposition. Well said. Can we be friends again?

This forum and their high horses. Extremely sad. Tunisia did what they could to try and achieve a good result against a far better side. England deservedly won, but stop with this sort of shit. It's more embarrassing than the way they acted.

That's a great header Kane is deadly infront of goal.
-
It's quite an average England side compared to the ones you've had in the past 20 years. Like Newcastle..... But he hasn't won anything with us man.
-
He's Colombian. Neesy in not knowing shit shocker. Video Assistant Referee: RICCI Sandro (BRA) We've already discussed the video ref, my fellow-countryman. But he's not the one making that goalkeeper decision that neesy was referring to.

He punched the ball ffs and got clattered.

Shut up, ours are clear and obvious rugby tackles, yours was a debatable tickle. Nah, debatable. I mean if I don't see it as a pen, then clearly it's debatable. Yeah, but you do, you're just being a dick. Second one wasn't even close to being a penalty. Kane pulled the guys arm making it look like he was falling. First one is as stonewall as the Swiss goal last night. It's not debatable whatsoever.
