With nees on this one. Will only change my mind if Cristiano wins the World Cup with this Portugal side. Then he’ll be the greatest we’ve witnessed and that’s with Pele and Maradona included. This Portugal side is shocking, absolutely shocking and if he wins a Euro and World Cup with them I’ll tell my future children he’s the greatest athlete ever

Best kind of bath. Solves everything.

Bringing the NFL jinx into this World Cup.

South American teams have been shocking so far. Only Uruguay won.

Pekerman’s quite easily one of the better national team managers in world football. They’re also a man down, missing their best player, and are still the better team.
-
Definitely. Not sure why he even called a foul there. Pretty poor decision.

One team is playing with a player less since 3minutes and have their best player injured. Think Colombia are doing excellent considering the circumstances.

It was intelligent. Excellent. Loved that.

What a freekick that is.

He's a pretty decent footballer tbh, but so inconsistent. This is a really weird sub from Pekerman as he can actually create something from nothing.

Second time I forgot. FFS Well deserved tbh.

Have to agree with this after seeing the replay. He didn't exactly do what Suarez did. Looked on purpose to me at first. Quite unsure after replay. Hard for the ref, still think it was a 50/50 decision in terms of the red card. If it's deliberate then it's a red card, that's the only debate with it. Which is what I was debating with Ikon, whether it was on purpose or not. Like a child. U ok hun?

That was idiotic from Carlos Sanchez.

Technical but poor side. Saw them in a friendly against Brazil in November. There's no way Colombia doesn't win this. Not going to be too easy, but they'll win it by a goal or two.

James on the bench? Carrying a knock?
-
that's a great point I hadnt even thought of. Can't (doesn't) go both ways It's really not. If a striker goes to head a ball and gets push it's a penalty.

No wonder the pressure is always ridiculous with the England squad. You guys beat a decent side in Tunisia (not a poor side at all) and in the opener as well where the ref obviously didn't help missing a clear penalty. 3 points basically guarantees you into the knock-out stages and an important game against Belgium. Score an early goal against Panama (who are a really poor side) and you might actually go into the final groupstage match with the possibility of a draw being enough to win that group.

There's not one thing on social media that I love more than the ''It's coming home'' thing. It's hilarious.

Trippier was excellent. Lingard needs to put the ball in the back of the net though. Had a few decent chances.
