Considerably worse if you ask me.

Long balls are a fucking waste of time for us and yet they keep pumping them long.

Hughton has no imagination.

Currently sitting 5th in the table, looks nice.

Given how Stoke were set out to stifle us and defend we needed more mobility up front, even Carroll is too static in such a situation. Changing Nolan for Barfa and bringing on Jonas would help but still need more movement. Crosses are always going to be difficult with the height of Stokes defence and the added presence of Diao dropping in.

We need more movement in and around their box. Players making runs dragging defenders and creating space.

Krul's shirt ripped.

Routledge keeps screwing up his crosses.

Ben Arfa must have radar or something, I never saw Perch coming there.

More of these please Sorenson.

And here we go again....

A win is essential on so many levels after the Blackpool debacle. Not least to avoid a swing in home fortunes, quite often you see a club that plays well away from home only to inexplicably play crap at home. After our long run (26 games without loss wasn't it?) the last thing we need is two bad home results on the bounce. Win this though and it won't take long before everyone, pundits included, are viewing that Blackpool game as a blip.

Yep, they're often grinding out a result and have picked up points where you might have expected them to lose. The harder the opposition is the more determined they seem to be, a good attitiude and one I'd rather they didn't have come derby day.

I'm still at the excited stage, I love watching good footballers and we haven't really had one for years who could do the unexpected. The good thing about Ben Arfa is that unlike people like Jenas, he seems to want to live in a goldfish bowl instead of trying to keep out of the limelight. He’s nothing like Malcolm Macdonald as a player but he reminds me of him the way he goes on as Macdonald liked to be the centre of attraction. I'm still at the excited stage too, in fact he has rejuvenated my interest to near teenage levels. I'd become a bit apathetic not long after Ashley took over tbh, a change that was much needed went pear-shaped so quickly. The Keegan fiasco and ridiculous club statements had me quite despondent. This lad, and to a lesser degree Tiote, have resparked interest. I still watch Pedro's Robert clip from time to time. By the end of this season I hope we have one for Ben Arfa that is twice as long.

Why do you reckon Moyes is bullet-proof Niel? I doubt they'd sack him soon, but if it continues how long do you think he'd get?
-
Nice to see Chelsea drop 3 pts. Some good results making for a more open league. What odds Moyes getting sacked if he doesn't win soon?

Thats because they just look at the score and cant be arsed to watch the match or even look at the stats. Agreed.
