We've currently got 15 players in the first team squad that are homegrown (country), but only three are homegrown (club). You need four homegrown (club) and a further four that are homegrown (country) to be able to name a full 25-man European squad. Otherwise, you need to name a smaller squad.

ASM, Gordon, Isak, Wilson, Almirón, and Murphy is starting to look like the forward pool of a proper, proper club. One of those is not like the others, but would be fine as an emergency option, should the makeup of the squad allow it. Diaby or similar in the summer and we're laughing.
