It's honestly nothing to get vexed about. Back when I was involved it was a bollocking if we didn't know the opposing XI and bench well in advance of kick-off. City, especially, will have something near a 100% hit rate in their analyst's opposing XI predictions these days, I'd imagine. They've had a section of their analysis department dedicated to it for well over a decade now.

There was absolutely nee insight in either of those first two episodes and the production quality was crap, had exactly the same issue with the theme tune as well. With the amount of dollar they've got and the amount of people producing the podcast, based simply on who they thank at the end, it's a fucking joke. Made me miss Dan Bardell and Steve Freeth more than I ever thought possible. (Didn't mind either tbf, accents aside.)

I don't think there was a leak of the design. Just the lead designer talking about how "three bold black stripes" is the inspiration behind it. Seems like the first new Adidas one will be more similar to 2001–03 than any other.
