  1. If it ends with the £29M - which for some reason he seems desperate to claw back - then I suppose I could just about accept that, but if it carries on beyond this next set of accounts then it would be the final straw for me.
  2. Aye I understand that argument. But then again, a lot of what he spent was clearing existing debt, so the 'mistake' was buying us in the first place. Not all of it is because of relegation etc, although it obviously didn't help. Aye, that was definitely his chief mistake: buying us without doing due diligence was a bit daft. However, I could always defend him in the past because he wasn't taking anything back out, as this was the one thing that I felt would give us half a chance of doing something once we started turning a profit. Now we are turning a profit and he's taking the money back out of the fucking club. It's unreal.
  3. I sort of resent the fact that he's taking anything out at all, given everything he has "had to spend" has been because of his own mistakes.
  4. Just been watching the San Lorenzo game from Sunday, some interesting items thrown at the referee after a controversial winning goal included a pink lunchbox, a pair of Adidas trainers and what looked like a Mr. Potato Head toy. Plus the usual lighters and coins. I was impressed.
  5. That's interesting, cheers Mary. Have to say it's been great having this kind of information publicly available since you joined up here

    Bafetimbi Gomis

Yep. A fair point, definitely, but how is it relevant to this?

Aye but if he's telling the truth he says wages were agreed and we moved the goalposts.

Tend to agree with him, especially when it's classed as a "blog" rather than an "article" (though not sure if other's agree there should be a distinction there). He's our best journalist by a mile.

  13. Amazing goal on the break form Belgium right on cue! Thought you'd been playing well enough too, think they probably deserve the lead on the balance though. What do you make of Mulgrew? Yeah they are a quality team, doing really well though. I like him, great left foot and versatile. Strong player too but a bit slow sometimes, that's what holds him back a bit. Think Grant Hanley is going to be good and James Forrest. You'll have seen loads more of him than me but he always catches my eye, like a classy James Perch. Think he'd be canny in the PL. Forrest looks like the key here, need him on the ball more.

  15. Wales 2-1 down in Macedonia, retired Bellamy looks their only threat.
