When they're fit, aye. The team that played yesterday plus Ryan Taylor may not be good enough... -
There's barely ever a fucking pass on man. He picked out Owen no bother against Stoke...
-
Eh? His best work comes from him picking the ball up deep and running with it...
-
People are too harsh on him. Simple enough. Victim of his pricetag but is undoubtedly quality. Lacks height, pace and strength but will surely only get better if he's given time to. He's definitely technically and mentally sound and apparently made of bricks. I see my injury jinxing from last night worked like... hope he's not out for long.
-
Him and Butt vanished second half like. Still not a bad debut. Looks like he'll be canny enough, enjoyed him bossing people about.
-
Can't cross for toffee most of the time and seems really reluctant to get forward (fear of getting caught out of position IMO) but aside from that he was excellent. Comes out of today with massive credit, one of the three best players on the park for us.
-
Not a perfect game as I thought Jones and Cisse ran him and Colo ragged at times but he was still outstanding. Great to see. Didn't bottle it, barely put a foot wrong, hope to hell he stays.
-
Fucking one man team at times, with a cameo from Enrique. They couldn't handle him. Obviously not a fucking perfect player, but who is?
-
...just so people know why it appears topics have "grown" suddenly. Trying to give us the best chance of staying up. If things start crashing then please let us know as me and Dave are both at the game. Cheers all and howay the lads!!

Bitter as fuck. Awful attitude.
-
Unfortunately, today was going to be the day to get the best fee of City, as it needs to bedone today for him to be allowed to play in the UEFA Cup. Couldn't have waited until afterwards? I know it was inevitable, but still...

He's probably right about communication in the backline, in fairness to him. Not sure who else fits the bill apart from Campbell if Hyypia is staying put. Think that would be a few years too late if it happened... -
Sorry, this is just the worst time for him to jump ship. It's one of two transfer windows in a season, it's not like he has that much say in the matter. Amazed he's hung about this long to be honest. Can't blame him at all. We've still got Harper, so it's not all doom and gloom.
-
Agree about the timing, fucking awful. Send everyone to the game in an even worse fettle. £8m is my guess.

Awful programme. Full of cunts.

82 games in a row, if Soccernet is right, since Feb18th 2007. Got subbed once on 83 minutes in all of that time (April 19th 2007). Insane. Defo getting injured now like, well done me.
-
He's a bit of a machine as far as appearances goes, like. Wonder how many consecutive games he's played now for his club sides - played every game last season for Deportivo as far as I'm aware. Cue a terrible injury tomorrow... He certainly hasn't hidden if you ask me, which is fairly admirable considering the circumstances and the fact that many have before him.
-
Fulop Bardsley Ferdinand Collins McCartney Malbranque Whitehead Reid Richardson Cisse Jones Leadbitter might come in to midfield for Richardson, if he's not fit enough to start, with Reid moving to the LM slot. I'd imagine the rest of the team is nailed-on though. Tainio has been playing but is doubtful, so maybe he'll slot in if he makes it (same as above for how they would switch).
-
A ring bearer. Hahahahaha.
-
We need a quality right-winger as well, IMO.
-
Exactly. He doesn't much like them quick OR muscular in general though.
