We could desperately do with a quality signing for the centre of the park, regardless of whether Butt stays or not. I do think Barton is good enough when he's actually available and in the right frame of mind and Guthrie and Butt are fine to play when necessary. We're still crying out for some power/athleticism in there, though, and have been since the mighty Amady Faye left us for pastures new.

I use my iPod Touch for browsing when I'm away/on trains and stuff, and have wondered about the images myself. Will be very nifty having our proper logo saved instead of the screenshot.

What do you mean for this mate? Just the little square images you'd use to directly link into the forum through the Touch/iPhone? favicon-esque image 57*57 pixels called apple-touch-icon.png in the root directory. then when u bookmark this to your home screen on an ipod touch or iphone it'll show that logo. its so much better than what you get atm, which is just a logo that the iphone creates - just a tiny screenshot of the webpage. Dave's PM'ed me the link you gave back in October. We'll definitely be doing this when the forum is re-designed mate/when we get the new logo.

If anything it was the UEFA Cup that kept our season going imo. All the fixture changes, the jetlag from playing Thursday-Sunday all the time, something was just lost completely since the Partizan game, the magic had gone. That's the pinpoint of when it started going wrong for me.

If KK abused an official I would slate him for it too. I hate it when one of our players or manager loses their rag at a decision or with an official, its pointless, will only ever cost you and doesn't exactly set the right standards. When we've had the class and wit of Sir Bobby and KK managing us it breaks my heart to see complete and utter brawlers managing my club. Not saying he was right to do it btw. But I can understand why he snapped and had a pop at the linesman. I bet thousands of people in the ground had a bit of a reaction to that decision at the time. Difference is he's being monitored by the 4th official and didn't get away with it. No way am I going to criticise him when I would have reacted in exactly the same manner.
