I’m shocked at how many 8s and 9s there are. Yeah we’ve improved the squad but 3 main positions targeted GK, CH & RW we’ve barely improved the first 11 if at all and the first 11 is weaker in the striker position. I get wanting to be optimistic but for it to be a 8 or 9 for me personally we needed far more improvement at CH & RW in particular. each to their own mind. And of course we will find out in time

If we are to believe Ornstein in unofficial discussions Liverpool started off at £120m we’ve sold for £125m-£130m we’ve said he’s not for sale all window. Capitulated late on for no more than £10m and because it’s so late on we’ve paid way over the odds for Wissa. We’d no intention keeping him as soon as he went on strike he was gone

I’m at a 7/10. Which is maybe generous jury is out on Thaiw, Ramsdale & Elanga think we could have done so much better in those 3 positions especially as 2 of them are positions we’ve needed to fill for about 3 windows. Hope all 3 prove me wrong really pleased however with Ramsay, Woltemade and Wissa. the Isak situation could have been handled so much better to go from the start of the summer window and accepting only £5m-£10m more at the end of the window and a whole lot of disruption was poor.
