  1. One phrase to sum it all up: Sad Mackem Bastard.
  2. You know who our current number 11 is? Peter Lovenkrands. http://www.subsidesports.com/uk/catalog/category/view/sid/1568/ They stock the lettering style used from 1997 to 2007. I might email them and see if they'll put 'Speed 11' on my 97-99 home shirt if I send it to them. Could you let me know if they'll be willing to do that?
  3. Sorry didn't post. Said I might buy that and wear at the Chelsea game. My way of saying thanks for memories and service.
  4. Think I'm gonna get that and wear it at the Chelsea game. One way to say thanks for the memories, effort and class. Best i can find http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Welsh-Football-legend-Gary-Speed-Black-T-Shirt-Supporting-Ty-Hafan-/320802439512?pt=UK_Men_s_T_Shirts&hash=item4ab150c158 There is a few on this website, expensive but good quality http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/specials/names-numbers/1997-99-newcastle-l-s-home-shirt-speed-11-xl.html
  5. Remember when I was buying our home kit 2003-2005, the one with blue northern rock. Couldn't decide between Woodgate and Speed, went with Woodgate. Fucking gutted now. Wonder if there's any where I can get an old Speed jersey to commemorate...
  6. I loved the fact that, no matter what, during his 6 years here you always knew No.11 was going to be in the line-up. A shining example of what it should mean to be a professional sportsman in age of pretenders, phonies, throwaway tossers and morons. Simply one of the best midfields, nay, players, to ever pull on the black and white. Goodbye Speedo.
  7. I hope you don't mind but I'm pinching that for my facebook status. Great quote. Like a scarlet walrus.
  8. It is ... just past the weird Triangular pub Yup right where I live then.
  9. Hmmm didn't post. If that main road is Trafford Road I live right off it.
  10. If the main road you speak of is Trafford Road, then yeh I live right off it. Do you live on those streets next to that bastarding DVLA place I spent an hour in last week? No idea. Basically, where the river is nearest to the ground I'm just there. On that note, does anyone know where the away fans are out boozing tonight? Better join in The DVLA place is in the tower block on the main road ... you wait for an hour and then they take £2000 quid from you in about 20 seconds. And give you a parking ticket.

  12. I live about 200 yards from Old Trafford. Gone for a run around the block in my full Toon kit. Total and utter lol.
  13. The city is ours, the city is ours.... FUCK MANCHESTER, THE CITY IS OURS!
