I'd already discussed Kris Boyd with a lad in our office in Edinburgh. Was not in the squad of 18 yesterday. His workrate is akin to Shola's but put the ball in the net with decent regularity when given the chance. Probably worth a few million if we put smith the other way..... in fact if we punt smith the other way he'd be worth more than a few million.

Owen cannot talk to any club right now without NUFC's permission. That's not to say they haven't given it, but the contract situation is irrelevant right now unless we've decided to cash in before he's worthless.
