  1. Very strange subs. Not sure why Campbell was left on as i'm not sure he's up to 90+ mins and Raylor going off left us with no 'orthodox' right back
  2. Outsside of the boot FFS. You're not Berbatov And it'll come back to haunt us
  3. Horne = Harsh Rules = Elbow Fellaini = Red This prick is really annoying me now. Can't wait for his penalty jedgement. MOTD were far more fair.
  4. More importantly he was a total dirty bastard and if he reckons that wasn't a foul on Harper he obviously was missing something when he played. I remember him getting sent off up here when they had 2 sent off. Always been a dirty team and i've still not forgiven them for the Gravesen / Bernard incident yet either.
  5. There are supposed to be 3 outstanding court injunctions on playing in the England World Cup Squad. They'll let one quieten down before digging the next one up.
  6. http://www.footballgroundguide.com/accrington_stanley/ Seems like we'd still get decent allocation of around 1500 at one end on uncovered terrace.
  7. Draw can't be made until other results are decided as it moves the seeds around. Neither team ahead yet so this could go on for some time until potentially after penalties.
  8. Don't know if some people are missing the point (or I am) but its not a case of picking 8, its having at least 8 in the 25. So if Man City went with that list they'd only be allowed to name a further 14 assuming none of those listed are still under 21.
  9. For me there is a bigger debate in this. When we got relegated we tried to win ugly and failed and had done just the same for the previous few years. The reality is would we rather try and eek out the points we might get playing boring defensive football or have a go in the hope of actually winning big enough share of matches to stay up. For me there are far more miserable teams in the Premier League who are better than up at grinding out results so who is to say a defensive approach would keep up better. Better to die fighting than go out with a pathetic whimper like last time.
  10. If they want to get rid of 'meaningless' fixtures maybe they should just get rid of points for a draw in the league. Too many teams waste their energy playing to stop the opposition. Maybe if they were a bit more competitive instead of preserving a boring position in the generally boring Premier League they might view the cup as a bigger priority. The FA Cup is world famous for a reason so stop dicking about with it just to suit the money greedy chairman.
  11. This commentator is a dick. Several times the replay shows the Italian head on it and yes he's still bleating about the injustice. Then obviously when someone has told him in his ear about it he then gives it some throwaway comment, instead of apologising to the linesman for suggesting he can't talk to the referee as they're from different countries.
  12. Too often he threw his toys out the pram when he wasn't picked. Too often he kept us in games. Too often his overall goalkeeping wasn't good enough. Too often him staying papered over the cracks. Once he took the easy option and left us in the lurch by running away from the fight. Legends don't do that. Legends follow their heart. He followed his wallet. Judas
  13. ... with a knighthood. What the fuck for? To be fair he did a very creditable job of screwing the mackems over for years.
  14. I wonder if them horn things will be so loud and obvious when a team with a large support plays. The England v USA game is likely to be the game with biggest foreign support in the whole tournament so hopefully we might actually get some singing. It'd not be the same without GSTQ and that band. Suppose they've got some use them.
  15. Is that all we get. The match is just over and STV have gone to some shit One-show rip off.
  16. "That's a suprising change". What just cos he plays in the Premierleague?
  17. That shut them fucking horns up
  18. Good goal but not sure it betters the opener from Germany in 2006 by Phillip Lahm http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/world_cup_2010/8731964.stm from 3:11
  19. There has to be 2 (TWO) players between the attacker and the goal-line to be onside. In this case there was only one (Pienaar). Quite simple really.
  20. You'd think but we had one of them allowed against us last season and i'll not forget the one Watford scored like that against us in 1999ish.
  21. IIRC Maidstone were the last team to go 'bust' and they went during the season so no precedent there, and i'm not sure what happened with Aldershot. Any replacement may cause a delay in the fixtures coming out but i imagine they'd 'reprieve' the next from bottom team but would need to do this across all divisions down to the Conference North and South, where the natural feed of teams stops. That means Gillingham and Grimsby fans may have an interest in this also, as well as Wednesday. When Gretna fell out in Scotland they were already relegated from the SPL but because the playoffs include the 2nd bottom team they promoted the losing play-off final team which may have been that team. They also did this for Livingston last season.
  22. Something in me says that the negative reaction to these 'kits' is because we're all so used to seeing three stripes down the shoulders. I think its the one thing that sets Adidas kits apart from Umbro / Nike / Puma, and fitted so well on our shirts and just gives them an edge.
