Did he? I haven't seen the video of it. Just said the usual "In the next couple of weeks i would expect some comings and goings". Normally i'm not a guy to read into tiny things but it seems to be the theme of the thread. If he seemed confident about signing players, then he seemed confident of losing some. Is that only on nufc tv or is there an article about it?

I don't think he meant anyone specific. Just said when it starts getting busier someone might become available and we'll be there sniffing around like everyone else.

Probably doesn't have a very good shot on him. Thought he had a poor goal record? And the few shots I've seen from him haven't been much to shout about. Or maybe he's awesome at this too, who knows.

I'll be amazed if any of the players are moronic enough to turn on a mate because people boo him, I'd expect the opposite. You are entitled to your views for that. I, on the other hand, do not think that it is moronic. I would just think that players are not that kind enough to tolerate another player who is grossly incompetent and is a burden to the whole team. Surely and fairly everybody deserves a chance to improve and prove otherwise, however there is a limit to tolerance. The tolerance limit to your posts has been reached. thats a bit like saying don't try and put the opposition off or support your own team as they are grown ups and it won't matter for low mentality people... that which come up in their head... for sure good grief does supporting the team have any effect on the players ? fans does support the team... they came up to stadium to watch them right? it already supporting... but if the player keep playing s**** week in and week out... does he not feel he is letting down the fans who come to support him at first place. on smith case he isn't help himself already by permanently poor playing over and over again. he doesn't look improve either from what he is.. no one denies that but is booing him onto the pitch going to aid him or his teammates ? In another crude fashion, if he still does not pull up his socks over a series of matches after being encouraged or tolerated... booing Smith onto the pitch and getting Smith's teammates turning against him, blaming it on him, forcing him to leave in the process... why not? His teammates know who the fans are booing at and if it's not them.. they will be more than relieved. Duff has a fantastic pre-season... and look... fans are more than willing to embrace him again. Fucking hell So booing him makes his team mates turn against him forcing him to leave.... You couldn't make it up

The incompetence deserves to be booed, criticised etc... It's a fact of life whether one can accept it or not. For those who does not, they are just lucky that they have met some nice people. It's a harsh world out there, not like a bed of roses for children or youths out there in school or being sheltered in the comfort of a happy family. Bottom-line: Don't be an incompetence or make sure someone is always more incompetent than you (Blunt, harsh but true!) Another advice: Getting booed or not... Don't let it get to you... It should be an encouragement to do even better, to prove others wrong! Letting the boos get to you, doing nothing does not help at all. The saying that time waits for no man doesn't help either. Wow you're really full of shit. Good job.

You can't possibly say that Smith gave his all on the pitch last night or in the other pre-season matches He looks so pathetic out there. Just drifting around. Not saying the booing was fine by any means. That and defending it is just as pathetic as Smith's performances
