Yeah fancied him to miss if he'd gone on, and definatey played for a foul, but imo the foul was there. Van Persie was booked for about the same Perhaps. I have sympathy for a defender in that position. You have to arc your run around the attacker who is waiting for any contact to go down. Any touch and Evra goes down, so to get goal side, he'd have to run quite literally around Evra I don't know. Not a foul for me, just trying to run and catch up with him.

Welbeck hasn't just been better than Rooney, he's been far better.
