Willock hasn't touched the ball in 5 mins, correlation = causation I think in this case

Murphy is fucking class, idc what anyone says

Glue factory is full this time of year

Willock must have shades of Messi in training is all I can think

I'm a simple man me, I just worry when we have to put Joe Willock in our starting XI

I find it hard to sit through such long interviews but I couldn't tear myself away. I've a lot of respect for Amanda. One of the most important people to ever be associated with our club.

I don't think he's the player he was a couple of seasons ago, Ramsey needs to start when fit in his place imo Just generally sloppy with passes, and making bad decisions on when to try and hold on to the ball when outnumbered

Survived till half time.

Is it better to concede now forcing Howe into making earlier changes (HT subs), or see how long this toothless setup can survive and concede closer to the end with less time to remedy it

Am pleased for him - he's having his best game for us so far
-
Gordon stop stroking your hair and press man, the whole midfield is moving to press someone 1 yard from you

Oh god these shit short corners, we've got Joelinton, Dan Burn, Schar in there vs this tiny Barca team. JUST SWING IT IN

Jacob Murphy is a force multiplier, when you're on top he's going to give you those key passes, crosses and assists. Absolutely vital for us in getting points off 'weaker' opposition. It's not just his ball striking, but his ability to act quickly and instinctively, whereas most of our players seem to play rigidly into patterns of play without much flair, Jacob will spot something and just put in a cross or a pass or take a shot. I think he should have a run at all set pieces to be honest. Yes Tonali looked good at Milan but when given the opportunity he didn't seem great, he might just be rusty, but Murphy on corners the other day worked and made so much sense. His no.1 attribute is striking a football - let's get him on corners, direct free kicks. I think Elanga has some work to do to displace him really, especially against weaker sides. When we've got our backs to the wall we'll need outlets and this isn't Murphy's game though. I'm honestly astounded I'm saying such things about Jacob Murphy, who would have thought after being loaned out to the Championship a couple of times because he couldn't get a sniff and looking afraid of his own shadow that he can so effectively play to his strengths here and now. Modern-day Gillespie parallels? Couldn't help myself with Barca on tonight.
