That cheered me up. Thanks! Some c*** has 95pts already. Saw that. Arsenal fan who steered clear of Arsenal players.

The Battle For More Points than 2010/11 - SUCCESS!

Pardew bottled it against Man City at SJP. Negative c***. Complaining that he didn't get us 4th No pleasing some. No, because if we had finished 4th, Ashley would have taken that pile of CL money and bought heavily! -
Yes and yes. He's just not world class. He's not.

Very. You have a very loose definition of "world class."

And Brad Evans. No idea why he brought up those two.

http://i.imgur.com/RemHP8N.png Really bummed about this season. Had to struggle to get a Newcastle player in the side. Might swap out Vorm for Krul. Marveaux would see to be a good buy, but I doubt he get as many minutes as Jonas.

I can't remember a time when the US so dominated our CONCACAF rivals. Sure, we've won in the past, but we've always had to huff and puff to win those games. There wasn't a minute of a game in this tournament when I had the slightest doubt that we'd win. Not sure if we're that good or the other teams in CONCACAF are all really poor right now. I mean really, really poor. Much worse than usual. Both Mexico and Costa Rica (our main rivals) seem to be at a low ebb. Jamaica, T&T, Canada, El Salvador, Cuba, Haiti are all dreadful, I mean just awful. What's the opposite of a golden generation? They're all there at the same time. Only Panama seem to be on the ups... but even then, they're not very good. Honduras are just meh. Donovan aside -- it really was his tournament (the turd)-- the player that impressed me the most and one I most want to see in Brazil is Mix Diskerud. I'm totally won over--a total fanboy. I know I'm not the only one and there might be a great deal of wishful thinking involved, but I think that (after Donovan) he was our best player.

Canada loses to Martinique. Mexico to Panama.

God, Spain was awful in 94 At least they would have given Brazil game. Awful final. Ruined the tournament. You probably didn't watch us play back then, our tactics would have made Pulis proud. I do remember the game against South Korea. Thought you were unlucky to lose to Italy. Just realized now that it was in the quarters, for some reason I thought was the semis.

The final we should have had in 94.

Holding it in a different country would be a start. Save Canada, no other country in CONCACAF is capable of hosting it. Mexico--two World Cups, but the Gold Cup is entirely beyond them. Actually, I remember a few years ago the tournament was co-hosted by the US and Mexico.

Starting to think no one saw us beat them. My first thought too.

Aye nippy start. Cracker of a first half from the Italians.

What, Dennis Wise was unavailable?

Among the Thugs is the only "hooligan book" I've ever read. Probably the only one published in the US. Thought it was decent enough. Edit: Checked up on reviews in Amazon and saw this one star review: I guess it's not a hooligan book after all.
