WTF? Where's the barcode draped over the corpse. The best by far. -
Shearer and Solano. ...and, oddly, Johan Micoud.

only 2 countries with a bigger population have ever won a WC, faking owned Two? You mean two countries with smaller populations, I think. That is, Uruguay and Argentina. Brazil, West Germany, France, and Italy all have/ had larger populations than England.

I'll take that.

McCarthy!

Um, throwing socks on the pitch isn't a problem? Thought I saw one pair hit Cahill earlier. Not that they pose a danger or anything.... just seems odd that such behavior would be countenanced.

Postponement would be great for us. A win over West Brom is more important than any points we might take from the Everton game. That, and having the extra week to ensure that Oba is really back and ready. Anyway, Taylor Taylor Bassong Enrique Duff Nolan Butt Løvenkrands Martins Carroll -

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story?id=615010&sec=europe&root=europe&cc=5739&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab1pos1 "When I speak about my career, the time at Newcastle was the best five years of my life. It was as if I was at home," said Albert with an enthusiasm that suggests a campaign or two more than the four he spent in the north east would have seen him set up a pigeon loft and embark on pedigree whippet breeding. "It's true that - at first - I couldn't understand what the fans were saying, and I would have to just nod and smile, but after a while it was fine."

jonas rubbish? are you sure? Seriously Lovejoy, the kid has zero end product and it was painfully obvious today. you have to remember he was playing on the wrong side though. i think he was on the left to compensate for enriques short comings defensively, which i thought he did very well. But Jonas has been on the left our last four games or so. He plays on the left for Argentina and did for Mallorca as well. Also, Keegan played Jonas on the left as well (the Man Utd an.d Bolton games). edit: agreeing with madras, enrique and jonas have worked well together the past couple of games. -

Taylor -
Bassong was absolutely incredible today. There were a few games earlier this season when I felt that some were going overboard about him-- really, he wasn't that good. But today he was.

Ameobi, what a donkey. Watching the game again. -
Of course they are. You don't think KingDawson went and researched the FA rules himself, do you? Funny guy. Actually they are discussing it on the spurs forum and it's only 10 posts long because it's such a non issue AND i actually got one of the rules i posted on the FA website (it wasn't posted on the spurs board). It's best not to assume something without facts. Yes, but. This is newcastle-online, and we've got some people who are really obsessed with Spurs. Ten posts!
