I think the good times are coming back too! Success for me is winning a trophy and I dont care whether its the Carling Cup, FA Cup, Premiership, Uefa Cup or European Cup (I think we can definitely rule out at least 2 of those!). But, for the next 2-3 seasons success for me would be getting back into the Top 6 and standing a chance of winning a trophy. That means going on a cup run and believing we have a chance, rather than simply knowing we wont win it. Its not impossible, look at this years FA Cup Semi-Finalists.

Got to agree, being involved in 95 goals is pretty amazing. Wish we had that kind of creativity these days, tho it helps that Robert was an important cog in a good team - we were good back then, loads of creative players and players who could finish - namely Shearer. At the same time, i was fed up with Roberts lazy attitude by the end, and glad he went. Getting rid of Robert wasnt the problem, it was who Souness (or Shephard) replaced him with. (Same goes with all players we got rid of after Bobby leaving - Bellamy included)

He can still pick out a decent pass aswell. And eat a decent sunday dinner

After picking up a suprise 3 points at Spurs, to go with 4 points taken from Brum and Fulham, a point wouldnt be a disaster. 2 weeks ago if we were offered 8 points from these 4 games we'd have taken them. Obviously I think we should and will win, just putting things into perspective. Hope theres no booing at the end from over optimistic fans if we dont win.
