And just to cap it off he is a dirty fucking foreigner. Not just any old foreigner either. Boooooooooooooooooooooo

Nothing clearcut. Carroll had a quarter chance header easily saved. Couple of FKs and corners. Pretty much nowt.

Young and English.

Take that. Mon the Manchester Reds

Why would he they want him to sit on the bench at us rather than on their bench?

Gerrin

I still think we'll finish closer to Sunderland than we will to Blackpool. Hard to say with the way this season is going but I'm always in favour of teams below us in the league pre kick off getting beat when the aim is survival (which it is in my view)

Could have done with these cunts winning today. Good news on the injuries front if they're out when they play is.

Bugger.

Be docking him wages if i was Redknapp. Daft. Don't know what Tiote said to him but he reacted horrendously. Very silly red.

Precisely, that's why bringing in another squad player would be absolutely pointless. Oh right, good point. More to do with my wording in previous posts. This striker needs to be a 'first teamer' then. And that's what I highly doubt will happen, considering Pardew's comments and the number of seemingly unsellable strikers we already have on the books. Can't see Ashley advocating bringing in another striker on decent wages. Unless its a loan or daft cheap fee I agree. Anyone we do buy will be out of contract at the end of the season I predict.

Tbf to Redknapp he rarely disputes referee decisions when it comes to red cards. Didn't even claim the Defoe red was a bad decision. Anyway as for the match today i can't really speak about it as i only listened via radio. Will have to watch it when i get home. I'd only watch the last 3mins of the 1st and the 2nd half if I was you. You'll miss nothing.

w2 d4 l3 this season. Unbeaten in last 5.

Howay Man United and Everton!

It should be a priority though. We should have at least 2 specialist players for each position. Thats the bare minimum I would expect in a squad. Jose could do a HBA in Feb and we'd be kippered for the rest of the season. Striker, winger and LB have to be added to the squad and hopefully remove some of the chuff that isn't good enough for this league.
-
Everyone has known this for ages though thats the problem. It hasn't been addressed for years. How long have we not been operating without an understudy LB for example? As long as I can remember. We are, still at times, badly missing HBA who was brought it to address some of the problems.

Need to go at them and seize the initiative. Wigan are always there for the taking.
-
a few times Taylor and Perch just backed off like mad. JJ shot and Lennon goal & chance for example.
-
At least Nobby and Jose should be back. I'd like to see a return to 4-4-2 for this one with Nolan back in the 4. Might even have some new players to play [/clutching wildly]

Modric has been one of the stars of the season for me this season. Really seems to have come into his own playing central midfield instead of out on the left.
-
My main gripe. We've played some decent controlled possession football on the road this season. Saw none of that today.
-
Ditto. Was very much like the performances we put in when we went down. No creativity, few if any chances and little desire/pressure on the game when we should've had the upper hand. Not arsed (particularly) about getting beat its the manner of the defeat that is the problem. We seem to have turned into Wimbledon circa 1990 too, our good performances on the road have come through controlled possession football, I saw none of that today.

Annual listless 1-0 defeat I fear. We badly need to pick up something though.
