On similar reasons I have also discounted Kanu and Trabelsi and Mokoena. Both Piennaar and McCarthy graduated from Ajax Cape Town, not the Ajax Academy proper so I put them on the bench. OK But when you look at Ajax youth system in general and Barcelona's and when you look how many players Ajax have produced you must agree that they have the best youth academy in the world All the players i mentioned in the Ajax team are/were world class and i doubt you will find so many players in Barca's team who came through the youth system
