Parker is hard working midfielder and his strongest component of his game is tackling and pressing the opponent.His game is based without the ball so we cant expect from him to create our game,to pick every ball from the defence and create our atacks.He may try to do this but its obvious thats not his game But thats only my opinion I think he is very good player and if Roeder uses his strenghts properly then he will get the best of him

That means that against AZ we will be only without Owen and Ameobi which means that we have almost full squad Looking forward to see what kind of 11 Roeder will pick

I firmly dont believe we'll be any better when all of our squad is fit.And thats because Roeder is average manager.He is tactically naive.Dont have tactical knowledge whatsoever.He makes some strange team decisions like playing our strongest team against Zulte instead of rested some of our important players for Sunday game.Not playing Nobby as RB,throwing this fat trol Car immediately in the first 11 when he got back from injury.All of these decisions were poor and thats because Roeder is as a manager.For next season were all of our players are fit and we have some new signings hopefully i dont see any big improvement under Roeder.He will make the same stupid team decisions,we are going to be inconsistent again with no style of play whatsoever.Sometimes im afraid of what kind of team selections he is going to make when all of our players are fit... Finally i agree with you that until someone better comes available its better for our club to stick with Roeder.But he will never guide is to something more than mid table position...I hope im wrong...

I rate Martins, Owen, Milner, Emre, Solano, Parker, N'Zogbia, Duff, Dyer and Butt.(The last two on this season's showing anyway) The reason we don't "create loads in midfield" and "score tons of goals" is down to the manager's incompetence. are simply not good enough. And I'm still not convinced by Huntingdon and Edgar. Do you think we've got a good defence or something? Bramble played well today. dont know which match you watched but i did not see Babayaro, Ramage or Carr playing I was there and Bramble did play well. Continually covering for Huntingtons lack of positional sense. Erm....I'm not commenting on today! Where did I say you did? I was merely commenting on the fact you seemed bemused at the fact WM said Bramble played well today. Well, it wasn't about Bramble. So he played well today...big deal. Not good enough. What about the other games since he came back from injury? He's played superbly. He was also in good form before he got injured. I'm not saying he's a good player but credit where it's due, yeah? He dosen't deserve a new contract. Few good games here and there is not enough. He's awful and dosen't deserve to play for a club like Newcastle. I didn't give credit for today's performance because I didn't watch the match. Saying he played well is just a person's opinion. I thought he played well against the Belgian team in the first leg. But the commentators and some members on here were overhyping him way too much. It was pathetic. I prefer Bramble rather than Ramage and Carr I prefer new players over those 3! I prefer Bil Geits to be our chairman then we can sign Cannavaro,Nesta and R.Ferdinand over those 3 but we cant affort 3 new defenders so i prefer to offer Titus new contract and next year to get rid of Ramage and Carr Otherwise if we let Titus go,next season we'll ofer new contract to Ramage who is our worst player

I think that today we played well at the back. We have seen alot worse performances from our defence granted, we didnt make an errors, but we looked far from comfortable and teh distribution from both centre halves was embarassing. wasnt happy with teh gooch today either, looked all over the place at times, it was like a hot potato Gooch looked confused at times and had some poor passes but besides that i think he did ok.Dont remember that he has played only 3 games for us and in the premiership He is not anything spectacular but he is better then Ramage for sure

Not for the first time. Why the hell Roeder doesn't give Edgar another game at left back instead is farking beyond me. Aye,im thinking the same thing The 2 games he played in the premiership he looked solid especially the game against West Ham

Aye,he was poor today but so was Taylor(of course not as poor as hunty but still).Both of them are Central defenders and its stupid to play them there,especially Taylor(Nobby is class there and he is proving this all season). I still remember the West Ham game where Hunty and Edgar played together and they did pretty solid job

Never watched him play but he is obviously great talent I hope that at least we try to sign him but i doubt it will happen Until Glenda make some contact with Derby the transfer window will be closed as usual

I think that today Roeder actually tried to change something by making those 2 subs(Milner and Zogy). Usually he is making subs in the 85th minute and today he did that in the 60th minute so he actually tried to change something
