Generational talent and the expectation was that he'd go on to be one of our greatest ever.
The CIES algorithm at one point had him as the most valuable player in the world.
There's a reason why they want to bring him back. If this was a Maguire or a Fred he'd have been kicked to the kerb long ago.
What's your position on it @Froggy? No judgement, i'm just interested to hear the viewpoint of a Man Utd fan

Lavia was a regular when fit and a standout performer. I noticed him. Hall - not so much. Not to say he won’t be a fantastic player. The fee is just wow to me.
I agree to an extent, but i think that about almost every transfer fee this summer. Bournemouth signed Alex Scott for £25m!

The contract thing is true and contributed to a lower fee. But the equivalent of less than 8 full games , in a bad sad, no outstanding performances he’s unproven.
Again tbf I think City sold a U21 GK for £20m but at least he has won the U21 euros as a starter. Lavia went for £10m.
we can agree to disagree. But £30m is Brazy to me.
Yeah, but the market is crazy. I dont know how may games Lavia has played in the prem, but he was in an even worse side and is costing almost double what is being reported we will pay for Hall

I don’t think I’v ever seen Grealish take a man on in a City shirt. Always backwards or sideways.
He seems to be in the team primarily to win free kicks

Where did I say that? I just wouldn't label him one of Chelsea's better performers on those minutes.
Considering he played well in those minutes and the majority of Chelsea's players were largely dogshit i think it could be argued that he was.

He played 658 minutes in the league.
Doesnt mean someone cant find it more exciting signing than Tierney, does it? I have faith in our scouting and management team in any case.

The guy will get the worst abuse from fans anyone has ever seen- i would hope from home fans too! Let Man Utd reintegrate the scumbag into their team - i want to see the public vitriol played out on live TV!

Caicedo was the 22nd player signed by Chelsea for a fee since American investor Todd Boehly and his Clearlake consortium took over in May 2022 and takes the total outlay of the new owners to almost £900m.
So even if all the signings they made before the 5 year loophole thing was brought in they are still looking at a £100m + loss per season for the next 8 seasons? No way that can be sustainable

And here's yet another reason for us to be conservative with the wages we offer to our players. Buying younger players from 'smaller' clubs means that we can improve a playera wages without making them unsaleable in the future

Looks like he's from the North West too, just outside Preston. In any case hes clearly useless at his job abd should be getting denoted down the leagues for the forseeable

Casimero was always going to be a short term signing at that age. Fabulous player for them last season, but probably a liability the longer this one goes on. He looked like he was fading at the end of the last campaign as well tbh.
Nah, hes still good. Will be fine if they get another midfielder who can actually defend to olay alongside him. The Mount signing for them still baffles me

The good news is Man Utd looked absolutely wank against a Wolves team who will be luck to avoid a relegation scrap this season. We would have fucking battered them

Enzo Fernandez barely moves. Looks like a massive waste of money tom e

Needs to lose the fro and he would have been on

If he learns to let go of the arrow and hold onto the bow he’ll go far.
Having been an archer then i was younger, i can confirm he is doing it correctly...

Looks like the one person in the technical area rule is getting completely ignored

Fair play to him for making the move. Would be funny as fuck if Tottenham win something this season

I cant claim to ever have seen him play, but it smells a lot like a panic buy
