Isco is such a good footballer, great to watch
-
Caulkin mentioned Cabellero from City, reckon that will be it.
I'd be happy with Cabellero
-
What does this mean for Armstrong? We're signing someone younger than him presumably to play in our first team (maybe not as a starter but y'know) in the Prem, while he'll probably be out on loan in the Championship..again
It means Tammy Abraham is ready to play in the premier league and Adam Armstrong isn't. Not to say he never will be but I think his displays on loan in the championship compared to those of Abraham show the gulf between them

Atletico Madrid's transfer ban upheld, so they won't be buying Sandro Ramirez.
I can’t see them letting Griezzman going then!
Big Rom to Man Utd now!
Hes got a release clause though, hasn't he?
-
I imagine they will be in for Marco Silva
-
Same names. Thinking there might be something to this Pires link:
Underwhelming to say the least.
Not sure i would call it underwhelming - both Gray and King have had their best seasons and are young enough to improve. They both also seem to have a lot of the attributes that Rafa requires from his forward players. I understand why it is more appealing to go for a potentially exciting player from another league, but i think in our position I would be looking to go for players who have experience of the league.

Sorry if Giggs but Man U have had a £72m bid for Mbappe rejected.

I forgot, its the peado-off tonight.

2-0 Swansea!

Haha, now Stoke miss a pen!

You get behind your players, don't you?
Like Colback?
Why get behind s*** players?
Cos they're the ones we've got and we want them to do as well as possible to get like promoted and that
Plus he works hard, right?
No - just the reasons i said. It's a matter of principle. You might disagree.
Go on then, explain how criticising him on a message board is going to have any influence? Booing your players is one thing, but picking fault with them after a s*** season is another.
It doesn't, but then again supporting him on a forum doesn't make a difference either. For what its worth i think he had a pretty good 1st half to the season, but i think the pressure has got to him and he has started to make a lot of mistakes. Some of the hyperbole on here about how bad he is is pretty riduclous.
-
Anyone can make a mistake, but the officials were talking amongst themselves for ages, surely they could have gone back and changed their minds?
-
Even Waugh at the chronicle seems to think that they don't have to pay all of it if they sell him.
So thick, man.
I imagine some of the fee might have been based on appearances and achievements, but the idea that they can sell him at them end of the season and only give us £7m is laughable
-
Kaka is right in thinking we have to play long ball stuff and sacrifice our best striker by a mile just because Jack Colback's in the team? You get thicker by the day, like, Ian.
Would you care to offer an explanation for our move to a more direct style?

I think in footballing terms at least both definitions are required - Steve Claridhe being the archetypal journeyman footballer who has played for loads of clubs at all levels and always been bang average.

Forest 3-0
-
Sunderland, Palace and Boro down with Bournemouth coming perilously close.
With my predictions it only took 34 points to stay up.

I got laughed out the park for suggesting dummett was our weakest link
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What park? Not on here you didn't. There's only Ronaldo who rates the lad.
Yeah, so much so I want him replaced in the summer. He's absolutely not as bad as folk make out, though.
He's absolute dogshit man!
-
Dummett is shockingly bad like
-
The difference in quality at the top level was emphasised for me watching West Ham's win yesterday. Carroll's goal was a really cool one on one finish, and he's better in every other aspect of his play as a target man. Obviously he is a perma crock which makes him useless for 50% of the season, but that's a homegrown lad who is in a different league to Mitro when he's actually fit.
I think his physical similarities to Carroll are part of the reason why people like him and want him to do well. With the exception of Ben Arfa, Carroll in his purple patch of form was the player of ours i have most enjoyed watching for years. It was my hope that Mitrovic could come in and do the same, but unfortunatley he cant finish and isn't even that dominant in the air.
-
You have to score from there like.
-
He's been ok, just looks a bit clumsy.
Mitrovic has been fine, much better than Murphy in the last match. Ditto for Diame.
Good display so far. Diame and Ritchie have been good. Mitro has been anonymous and looks knackered.
Who to believe... who to believe. It's like civil war all over again.
-
The left hand side lets the whole team down.
Dummett had a good game midweek and there is no legitimate alternative, since Lazaar is an unknown quantity in defence.
Gouffran doesnt offer enough going forward, admittedly.
You can get away with one or the other in my opinion, but with both of them playing we Have zero threat on that side.
