I'm trying to remember some glaring misses from him... anyone? Only because that could lead us to what may be the problem is... is he getting into positions and not converting, or simply not even reading the game as he used to anymore, and positioning is the problem? I'm just as flummoxed by this as anybody.

We are but that doesn't qualify for Europe, i genuinely believe we are capable of that and think that is what we should be aiming for. Settling for just being OK and this result is fine but to finish top 6/7 you need to be winning games like this. It's been the case with HBA on here forever. People seem to only love him or hate him, don't seem to treat him as any other player, who needs a good manager who cn work with him and improve the sides of his game that need work, while encouraging him to do what he does best. Instead they expect this Franco Baresi-type defensive skills and Maradona-esque attacking force. Seems like nobody wants a player who is in between.

That is the single biggest issue with this team now, and the manager is not even responding to it or addressing it. What the fuck is said in halftime teamtalks? "Let's go to sleep, lads"? It makes no sense how we start the second half of every single game, especially home games where we're leading. It's mindboggling. It smacks of cowardice.

I don't think some on here watch the same game as most people with common sense do: in essence, there is a fracture in how they distill reality. You're bang on. Some on here... not so much.
